  • Where is the epic button ???

  • I love how the judge in the back mistakes which flag to raise....

  • old skool world chapionships-japan vs brazil taisho match- not police champs

  • What the hell was that? tsuki kote men?? Pure awesomeness.

  • EIGA is EPIC!

  • Man! That was fast!

  • Been a while! need to get back into this shit!

  • Just wow. My only thoughts when I saw the whole thing. That combo was amazing.

  • what a combat @@...

  • Flexible wrists, excellent application of tenoichi, footwork, seme, maai, and zanshin. Opponent had no chance.

It shows you can win w/o a big fumikomi w/ a good correct sounding strike on a open opponent.

  • only Eiga sensei... just awesome... @@ that was the most beautiful combat I had ever seen

  • I literally did this at practice today! Both kote and men hit the targets. Felt great.

  • Last time I checked these people were still alive...

  • wow 3 hits!?? thats like blazing fast reflexes.

  • tsuki-kote-men damn only eiga

  • kumdo?

    is'nt this kendo?

  • Same thing. This was just from a rebroadcast in Korea.

  • awesome!

  • Great!

  • that was awesome very nice 3 hit combo

  • Nice hit! :O

  • did he get an auto win or sumthin from getting all 3 hits in? Or is it still only 1 point (the men as it was the final hit)?

  • It's only one point, no such thing as winning because you hit multiple places all in one try. Shimpan only look for the last point scored, example, if you do a kote-men, if you miss the men, then no point is scored, no matter how good your kote is, you missed the men.

  • Dang, so you essentially have to know when you score, and just stop there then? Or you could risk forfeiting the strike you earned?

Sorry, I'm extremely new to all of this, just learning what I can.

  • not really. It's just all about form and what's called zanshin. You learn as time goes on in your training

  • Cool, thanks for the quick reply. I'll keep an open mind and ears over the next few weeks, try and soak up as much information as I can before I join a dojo. Thanks again -

  • Who is that Eiga ?

  • WOA 3 strikes in like 1 second, all expierenced kendoists know that 1 Eiga is incredible, and 2 the fact that the order was tsuki kote men is incredible that he kept the maai far enough away after the tsuki that he could strike kote. Thank You for posting!

  • eiga is a beast, lol. im so happy i got to meet him and train with him once. his kendo is just beautiful, and i love his form.

  • omg!! you trained with him?!!!! O_O!! man i hate youu xD! i wanna beat eiga some day XD

  • OMG!!! You must be joking! Man... I am so jealous of you. You really are a lucky person.

    :)

  • EIga defeated miyazaki...

    after a few tries tho.

  • i think Eiga deserves some respect for that! Tsuki, kote-men! now thats a challenge!

  • i prefer eiga's kendo cause its more orthadox . miyazaki is more like modern kendo more moving the head you know what im sayin .

  • ok, i agree, miyasaki is in fact a legend. But Eiga as also earned some respect among kendoka.

  • i dunno man... Miyazaki's a legend.... hahaha

  • That's just incredible. Eiga is just great. If not for the injuries or the late age, he could have been greater than Miyasaky.

  • that's fucking mad. tsuki kote men?!

  • thats fucking rediculos
