  • Thanks so much for posting this. Of course with the internet you can find ANYTHING...I've wanted the soundtrack from this beautiful film for years! All I have is a quickly deteriorating videocassette from around 1985. Thanks!

  • Sometimes people are quite shocked when I tell them I don't listen to music and it's true music any music just gets on my nerves I can stick it for about 20 minutes then it has to be switched off, don't get me wrong I like odd songs and bit's of this and that but in very very small doses, however there is one exception and that is the music of John Barry I can listen to JB all day long, I just find his work magical and this 'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland' I think is my favourite.

  • I was fortunate to attend this concert at the R.A.H in 1972, can't believe it was 40 years ago,

My God where has that time gone ? but the music sounds as good today as it did all those years ago.

Thank you John, you were and still are my favorite musician of all time.

    R.I.P. nearly your first anniversary.

  • From bond to King Kong and even Alice. John Barry a good modern day composer. Thank you Mr. Barry

  • This is in excellent quality! Where on earth did you acquire this, Pinorizz?

  • @MagicEmperor The cd of The Concert John Barry was released last year and is available on both Ebay and Amazon

  • So beautiful is this soundtrack. I absolutely loved Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and think it to be so very magical and breathtakingly surreal. My heart skips a beat whenever I listen to this beautiful piece of orchestral dream. Had I thought it, I would have had it played at my wedding nine years ago. We love you John. RIP.

  • I weep every time I hear this because the memories as a child keep flooding back from sad childhood days and Alice in Wonderland had a whole new meaning of escape to another world. John you just release something from within, for me you will live forever.

  • Always John Barry your music will never be forgotten and forever played. You just keep stiring one's emotions. So beautiful, Johnyou are missed.

  • One of the most beautiful pieces I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Absolutly mesmorizing.

  • Gorgeous. Simply beautiful. Thanks a lot for uploading!

  • ...wow.....remember loving this music as a kid.....and everything John did since then......RIP thanks for all of it John xx

  • You RULE!!!

  • @HuascarMC Its part of the 1972 Adventures of Alice in Wonderland film original soundtrack 1972.

  • heavens gain, our loss, i for one will always love your music thank you mr. Barry.

  • Heard this suite many many years ago and could not find it anywhere. So grateful to you for posting it. And naming the album, a real result in more ways than one Cheers!

  • @agrumpysheep The soundtrack is now actually available. Try Screen Archives Entertainment.

  • Thanks for posting,John takes us to a special place in his music, We must thank him for enabling us to 'feel' through his unique voice,John you will be sadly missed but hearing this today you are always walking among us .

  • RIP John Barry. This score is a work of genius.

  • I have longed to hear an instrumental version of 'The Me I Never Knew' for such a long time. This is absolutely stunning, thank you ever soo much for uploading it.

  • Thank you pinorizz! Such a delight to find this suite on YouTube! I've loved the film and the enchanting music since I first watched the film with my now 35 yr. old son when he was about 5! I purchased the VHS years ago, but wish they would do a re-mastered DVD version. I love this version the best of all.

  • The music from this film is absolutely astounding. I've loved it ever since I was a child & it's the reason I still watch the film today.

I sought out the original Warner Brothers soundtrack album but it doesn't appear to contain much of the amazing instrumental music which plays between lots of the scenes in the film.

It's a shame that the score to this film has gone largely undiscovered & that most of the music has been "lost", especially as the man who composed it is so well known.
