I liked this stuff the first 2 times i had it....but the 3rd time as I drank it all i could think of was vinegar, and then when i thought of vinegar it made it worse....maybe i was too high or something but i never bought it again.
Anchor Steam is one of my very favorites. I've shared many sixers with my dad during fishing trips in the spring and summers. It will always mean a lot. Good stuff.
@AgileHProductions No,where I live to buy beer you eather go to what is called a beer store or the liquor store. Are liquor store's sell more then just hard liquor like I seen some other's else where do. If we can get this beer in i guess some liquor store location's then I can't see why some of the pothers from them dont come here but yeah dont think I can get other's here
@AgileHProductions I would say Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale is my most favorite as of right now, but I also mostly enjoy Stone DB's. I like Dead Guys more though because of the certain balanced taste to it. I've tried anchor steam once and it didn't really do anything for me, but it wasn't bad...
I Understand How They Said Not Much Is Good And Bad But This Has A Shitload Of Flavor. I Love This Fucking Beer Just Like Jeremy!!! Anchor-Heads UNITE!
@Brasstacks11 I recently had Liberty Ale - which you can see in a comment below - It was delicious! I still haven't seen the porter in a store, but I'm going to keep looking.
@FelixAtrox I just had one last week and it was delicious. I would drink Anchor Steam or Liberty Ale andy day of the week. I'll look for their porter since you recommended it.
a "bland beer" but then you rip on Arrogant Bastard for having too strong of a taste....make up your mind. anchor is a classic, its been on the market for 30 years. jeremy you are the only one who has any sense at all, the other two should be replaced.
hey...you can buy this beer all over the country, you dont have to go to San Fran to get it. do you all do any research before you do these "reviews"
I don't dislike the host. Its mostly these "judges". He actually says "The good of the beer is that it doesn't taste like much" So is that what you are looking for in a beer? Honestly the "judges" just sound like idiots that know nothing about beer.
Jobster, a 6, bland, did you have a cold or something? Come on pal, I can't believe I took you surfing many years ago. Love the debate though. I really dig this beer and everytime I am in San Fran, finding this on tap is a must. Out of the bottle I give it a 7, on tap, 9. I'd like to see some bigger craft brews with interesting stories. Some of the Dogfish, Allagash, maybe a Sierra.
i would try the kinda the beers that are in the dark and try those. and bring those up from the deep. uh ya a light beer would probably be better for me than a hoppy or a realy dark beer so. and i could drink more of them HeHeHeHe.
I think a good mix would be nice.....I've found about 50% of the beers you have reviewed at my local beer store, but not every town and city has a good beer store. I think it would be good to maybe do some Sam Adams, Red Hook, and Brooklyn....stuff that almost anybody can find, but also have some of the smaller regional stuff too
@AgileHProductions I have been there a few times...I usually go there when I want to try a European beer. Since they are quite expensive, usually I'll just go to total wine to try American Craft Beer
@Chad9976 Jeremy is pretty feisty - in a good way. He is going to be on for at least the next three episodes and we'll see what he wants to do after that.
I liked this beer. I could definitely see having a few of them on a warm summer day - especially on my next trip to San Fran. I would give it an 8.
You should review common beers more, with the occasional rarity. Personally, I get much more into a review if it's something I can go to the store and pick up fairly easily. Also, do a malt liquor/cheap beer section to review which is the "best of the cheap." Those seem to get a lot of views these days.
@IsThisSumBattleToads Thanks for the feedback. It seems like that is our number one piece of feedback - that people like to be able to try the beers that we are talking about. We are planning on doing a few more popular beers over the next couple of episodes, so we'll see how people respond.
I have no respect for Joby at all anymore. Keep drinking your shit BMC

Is anchor steam better than Sierra Nevada.
Alex415111 6 months ago
@Alex415111 It's just personal preference, but I would lean towards the beers at Sierra Nevada.
AgileHProductions 6 months ago
@AgileHProductions then i think I will go get a Sierra Nevada then. Thanks
Alex415111 6 months ago
@AgileHProductions I vote for trying both. Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA is one of my favorite beers.
AgileHProductions 6 months ago
@Alex415111 if you want something more yeast get anchor but sierra nevada is more hoppy and pale I find anchor a bit of a lager pale ale

I love that Joby praises all of the things he discredits Anchor Steam for having when it comes to Miller Lite.

@Titsbongripsnbeer420 I'm not sure what to tell you... I'd recommend going to a good beer store in your area. Do you have one of those?

This is one of the best beers in the world. Their ale and porter beer are simply oustanding.Only German beer can compete with this.

I think it's a pretty good lager, but as a beer in general it's only ok. I think I gave this a 7 too.
You should review craft beers that are well-known. I dont think you've reviewed any Southern Tier or Dogfish Head yet have you?
