@nibletxxx The term "gods" in that verse is also interpreted "sons of God" or "like God." It refers not to deity but to the office of responsibility bestowed on the Jews by the Lord. The Bible makes it very clear that Jehovah is God, and there is no other. "Gods" (with a small g) throughout the Bible usually refers to the pagan, powerless idols of Gentile nations, but this is an exception.
