Is it just me or did that fight scene where Dex is supposedly "choking" Lucas totally turn anyone on? All I saw were two hormonal men with electricity and chemistry bouncing off each other. The sex is going to be awesome. (I wonder what Nina thinks about all of this...)

Maybe. At this point the writers have done a good job of keeping some things about Dex ambiguous. So you're left to see into his behavior what you want to see, whether it turns out to be there or not.

I still don't get why Dex thinks he can be such a bastard to Lucas. Lucas his is girlfriend's brother and the grandson of his boss for that reason alone you'd think he'd tone down the homophobic jibes and assholery. What is he thinking? Does he really think Lucas will just put up with his crap forever?

He has no good reason for behaving towards Lucas the way he does and his family is entirely too evolved for him to be such a freaking homophobe so overtly (even if it is a cover for something)

In real life Dex would be more cautious, but this is a soap opera, and the writers ignore reality, when it suits them.

hahahaha that last scene was so ridiculous, it makes me lol so much. Not really the fact that they fought, just how they fought.

Most laughable was the blocking and acting during the mini-fight. The way they neatly avoided breaking any glasses looked really stiff and fake. The lead-up to the fight was well done, though.

Slight22, I just started watching the show a couple of days ago, and this is as far as I was when I wrote my comment. I don't know whether Dex secretly has the hots for Lucas or not, because as I write this today, I've watched only the next two segments.

I honestly don't know yet why Dex is so homophobic. (And please don't tell me, if that's been revealed. I hate spoilers.)

Anyway, I wasn't criticizing you. I was just saying that at this point Dex still seems to me something of a mystery.
