  • Texas Special pick ups ???

  • omg !!!!

  • I was on the wall on this guitar, this review just sealed it.. Now I just have to go one more time and give it a play before I take it home. Great review thanks.

  • that's it, i am going to play my american std strat,

    i missed her ass too

  • just the best blues strat, but I would try the HSS version

  • just the best blues strat

  • i have literally the same one but sunburts having a little trouble with the rock sound it doesnt have enough gain

  • main mcm haram

  • tune up!

  • @hendrix0is0lord Dude when i first got the guitar it had a really hard time staying in tune. I had to end up superglueing the saddle screws so they wouldnt unscrew while i was playing. I was aware it was going out of tune, sorry about that

  • @davedbrave17 No probs mate Great playing by the way

  • What is the difference between Fender medium jumbo frets or jumbo frets?

What are the best frets for a blues player with small hands?

  • should tune it first or dont they tune like most newer guitars with there green necks??where can you buy a new guitar with a aged neck??

  • candy apple red, differs when light shines on it. it can look bright red or a more of a dark red

  • what color exactly is the guitar?

  • i would take a 2007 highway one sss strat over a american special and a american standard strat's any day! the 2007 highway one sss strats are simply tone superior over most MIA strats. this is why there one of the most sought after strats out there today!

  • @stratdem holy shit dude shut the fuck up bout your little 2007 highway 1 strats... i swear you've wrote about them on every single strat video on youtube. your facts are inaccurate, your beliefs are retarded, and nobody gives a crap, so STOP SPAMMING THESE VIDEOS. oh, and great strat dude, i played a two tone sunburst one today and it looks, feels and sounds great. enjoy!

  • Love the guitar. I have had one for about 3 months and I love it..

  • nice john mayer stuff there.

  • @gamingz Thanks!

  • yout a but out of tune but nice playing otherwise

  • great playing man!

    i m getting one soon

  • @kleschtremania congrats man, i recommend you do that ASAP!

  • i wish i had one so i could play for the world :)

  • Awesome!

  • Gravity live in LA =]

  • i played this through a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue at my guitar center today. the sound was unbelievable. Forget all of the "great for the price" comments. This guitar is the real deal and could easily be a couple hundred bucks more expensive than it is. I just hope i can pick one up before Fender decides to bump the price up to where it should be.

  • Fender Strat is the Standard when you're playing gigs, Besides a nice hollow body Jazz box.

I'm sorry I sold the Fender Strat I had from the early 90', It was a smilar color, Burgundy, I'd love to own it again.

As far as I can tell playing both G&L's USA Strats and this Fender Amer. I'd take the Fender Amer anyday. Great Sound, And, Beautiful Paint job.

    Good luck with it!

  • Great playing! Do you think is better this or a G&L tribute?

  • @BiavaStratTele Thanks man. I hear G&Ls are awesome but ive never actually played one... If you can, it is definitely worth it to try them both out before you buy anything. Good luck bro!

  • @davedbrave17 Thanks, keep rocking. Bye!

  • Nice dude, congrats. im thinking of getting one myself. I really like that color too.

  • @powerchorde1968 gracias amego

  • @powerchorde1968 yeah man i plan on getting the white one and noisless pups at the same time and have the neck and bridge pup on noisles cuz that how we roll

  • WOW. this guitar is certantly beautiful..but not quite candy apple red. more of a medium mettalic finish. would you reccomend this to me? im getting this or a 899USD mexican strat road worn tomoro. please respond soon because i want to know what you think of it so i dont buy a bad guitar :p

    it looks beautiful

  • @remalicious123 Well the road worn does look very cool. The only thing about Mex strats are that some play and sound awesome and some are just bad. Or at least thats what ive heard. If you end up getting this guitar, your safe on quality : ) good luck deciding!

  • @davedbrave17 lol i got this beautiful guitar but in the two tone burst.

  • @remalicious123 Awesome dude, how you like it?

  • @davedbrave17 i dont like it..i LOVE IT. the pickups are absouletly great.! BTW i just uploaded a video of me testing it out playing the solo to hotel california. check it out if you want. though i did not have that problem with the tuning and the nut as yours did

  • just bought mine a few days. I'm so happy with it. I got the HSS. Your right it was totally worth the money.

  • Great playin!! But my personal opinion, tge guitar sounded great during blues.... But when you started the distorted tone it sounded wierd to me. It could of been the camera or just the amp but it just sounded wierd.

  • @MrGuitarboy97 thanks bro, i do agree with you on that too. I, still tyring to figure out how to get the right sound. Orange just doesnt mix well with a Strat in my opinion

  • tune up please

  • @Ibanezguy123456789 You have to watch out because when this guitar is brand new, like it is in the video, the strings get caught on the nut after you play so it makes some notes sharp. I tuned up before i filmed this. It can be fixed by putting graphite in the nut

  • @davedbrave17 so it was out of tune because of the string getting caught in the nut?

  • @Ibanezguy123456789 yep. I couldnt figure it out for the longest time. I thought it was the string trees but nope, the nut caught the strings like crazy. especially when I used the tremolo bar

  • pacifica is better than this guitar

  • @jprincehouston uuhhh pacifica is a starter guitar and no where near comparable in quality or tone to this AMERICAN strat whilst pacifica im pretty sure is china or korea

  • great guitar! i have the red one too.really dig it for the $.go FENDER!

  • @roccotanto Cheers! haha

  • Gravityyyy... Ohhhhh gravittyyyy

  • just got the same thing about 2 hours ago. AWESOME guitar. Playing through a VOXVT50....that needs to change? any suggestions?

  • @Flerg3 Congrats man! Dude to be honest with you though, I like the sound of a strat much more through a fender or two rock amp. To me it just allows that straty tone to be much more present. I Know that vox and orange sound very similar and they are, to my ear, more for humbuckers. Just try out many amps and see what you like ;)

  • @davedbrave17 i agree man, thanks for the tip.what are you playing though in this vid?

  • @Flerg3 Im playing through an Orange AD30 with a 2/12 cab. I am still pleased with the sound but Im just trying to find that tone in my head. Kind of like a john mayer tone, or SRV. I feel that a get more of a modern Eric Clapton sound with this setup

  • good choice in color

  • If I remember well the Special is more or less 790 euros (or dollars),while Standard is 990.

If the first is better, why there's this difference?

  • @TEO1994sniper im confused man... This guitar does cost less tho

  • @TEO1994sniper The standard is supposed to be better... I also personally much prefer the special. Maybe you, like me, just prefer the jumbo frets rather than medium jumbo.

    Peace,

    Canadianspunge

  • I'm sure it's a great guitar. I have a HIghway 1 with Texas Special Pickups. I love them.

  • The specials also have Texas Special pickups.

  • What do you all think sounds better? This guitar or a music man sterling?

  • the guitar sounds out of tune I think... nice one tho, I think I'm getting the HSS one in 3 tone sunburst :)

  • what difference there are between special and standard?

  • @sbandat90 the standard strat doesnt have a 70's style headstock and texas special pickups. The tremelo setup is different too. On this guitar, it has a vintage tremelo. I believe thats it. ohh and it also doesnt come with a hardshell case... gotta love the gig bag

  • @sbandat90 I think the most important factor is that the special has jumbo frets, while the standard AND deluxe have medium-jumbo. AKA the frets on the special are bigger. I like that way more, it gives you a lot of "room" to think.

  • Gravity!! haha nice playing

  • @tipc843 hell yeah! thanks man

  • Dude this sounds awesome! I bought a Fender American Tele in 3-tone sunburst. I just posted a vid of it, but it's not nearly as good as yours haha. I love Fender for releasing this series of guitars :)

  • wow man... whos that guy in the back? was up austin?!

  • I played that same guitar in Long and Mcquade for 2 hours... stayed in that position most of the time...badass... didn't like the hss as much.. more range of sounds but meh

  • it is a badass guitar. I didnt get the hss because i have a humbucker guitar and wanted a completely different sound. im glad you think it sounds better because i wouldnt kno

  • Man, ive only been gone a few weeks and your already off buying new guitars without me. Jeez Dave..lol. Maan, its been to long.

  • dude i know man haha we need to chill soon. And jam with my new baby! :)
