It's true the Razr has a better screen but the viewing angle on these phones are horrible. He is suppose to have camera directly over the phones as if he is looking down on phone like we normally do. The screen on the Bionic is not that bad, its actually very good. The viewing angle is very biased
The Razr has some cool features. The screen is a lil better on the razr
The cam is way better on the razr (but you can replace it on the market with the best one for android) and of course the razr is thinner which is cool
But overall, I think the Bionic is the better one. I mean just the battery replacement and the extended battery make it a huge difference
The only big issue on the bionic is the cam being so dark, but you can get the best one on the market just for a few bucks or even free
If i was to put videos on my phone what format would they have to be in?? for example now i have a 3gs while deployed and use that for videos but can the Razr handle quick time? or should i leave it in a windows media format?
@Cotonajoe, you don't have to believe it you imbecile. I always keep 2 phones. I don't like that the Nexus has no removable storage, but I will try it out for 3 months from Costco. Get your head out your ass & get your game up idiot.
@JamesChronicle, that's YOUR opinion. You are in small company. Reviews from reputable places such as Technobuffalo, and the reviews are poor. What you are truing to do is justify you spending your upgrade & money on it. Believe me, if the Razr were better, I'd still have it. Price isn't an issue. If loading a webpage 1/1000 of a second faster, but no expandable/upgradable/removable battery its better, then you go ahead & believe that, but you'll probably also believe fire isn't hot.
@Pawbearr, ikr! Lets say theRazr is faster. How fast is out when it bricks, and the volume/power buttons are unresponsive! Had mine for 2 days. Didn't even get a chance to do a video comparro. I had to wait for the battery to drain & recharge it. The charger in my truck at the time was for a Blackberry, so I couldn't recharge it from completely dead. Non Motorola chargers only charge phones with life, but slow, not from completely dead. Luckily I had my Bionic with me.
@deucedaprodeuca I am assuming you mean "breaks" and not "bricks"? With any product released there are defects. Sounds like you had the bad luck of getting one. My Bionic's power button broke and I didn't drop it or hit it on anything. It is now stuck out on an angle. I like the Bionic. The Razr is just superior.
The screen oh the Razr is more vivid, but only in the dark. You only do comparisons biased toward the Razr. For instance, you said you hit the Bionic button slightly ahead, but you wouldn't say wren you hit the Razr button slightly first. Do a video of both phones in normal lighting conditions, or turn the brightness of the Bionic down in the dark. It's hard to see a bright screen in low light. We all know this. Ever stare at the sun? Duh
@deucedaprodeuca Listen, the Razr is a better phone in every single way except for battery life... No matter what demos I do you will have your opinion. Widespread reviews like on CNET and others show that the Razr is the phone to beat... They praise the screen...
And if you've had any experience with droids we've all had to remove the battery to reset the phone. And if you read the forums this is a real risk abd a pain with the razr. But both phones are great. And the difference in speeds is really about 1 second. 1ghz and 1.2 ghz really isn't that much of a boost, but yes the razr is a little faster. But not enough to make me say wow look how much faster that one is.
Your screen on your bionic looks horrible, but here are some things you should know. If you check you will see the razr is using a updated version of gingerbread 2.3.5 and bionic uses 2.3.4 this fix allows razr to be a little more responsive. But it is said that both will be getting updates anyway to ice cream sandwich. Also razr cpu speed is overclocked to 1.2 while bionic is 1. Which brings me to the battery, the only drawback of the razr. It's said to be not removable, so no backup battery.
@JamesChronicle it has a 1.2 Ghz processor over the bionic's 1Ghz (both dual) I have the Bionic and its a great phone but I like the way the razr looks the only con is that you can't Duane out batteries and have a backup.
I would think that a phone with a bigger processor ( both TI OMAP) and virtually every other piece of software from the manufacturer the same should be faster.
With all the effort in making these videos, why not take one second to change the settings on your damn cam and uncheck the auto focus check box? grrr
terrible review, viewing angle was terrible and when i exited out of the camera app when you did it was faster then both of them

I don't believe you had one for a second....you complain about it not having a removable battery, yet you bought one anyway?

No, I meant "bricks", meaning the phone was completely unresponsive. Even the hard buttons.
