I see nothing wrong with it, it's not like you're filling your blogs with ads like I've seen elsewhere (meaning the "brought to you by..." type).

Just on a side note... What I think is absolutely hilarious is one person has created about 50 Youtube accounts so he can annoy people and be nasty. He has the audacity to criticise people and pick fault with them when he goes around harrasing people constantly and actually subscribes to Peter just to leave a stupid comment when he creates a new video.
Jealously a dangerous thing my friend. Can't Youtube do something about this idiot? Peter don't ever listen to that troll.

What's funny is, anyone else, if they had even an inkling of your success, wouldn't think twice about "showing off", they'd expect people would think it was really neat. Again your humility and class shines through. Anyone who doesn't recognize that is just plain goofy. :)

It's an achievement to be recognized worldwide that not many people, let alone an 81-years-old like yourself, could claim to have. You did it in a way that's inspired the elderly to join in with the young and brought together the generations that were starting to lose their common grounds. I think this is a great idea, Peter. I don't see it as an ego trip at all, but rather a chance for all of us to share some of the wealth of experiences you've had. You've been busier at the age of 80 than most of us have been at half that age. :-)

The thing that you forget to tell, Peter, is that your promotional work and all the expensive travelling you do for the Zimmers and others, is at your own cost.
So if anyone convicts you of "exploiting your fame" he should think about the costly aspects of that "fame" first and how it should be "covered".
But I would like to see a lot more, as I really liked this.
