  • Для чего эта хуета???

  • You know, I honestly thought those little lights were going to look pretty silly installed on the Scout, but they turned out looking pretty good, and their performance eliminates any lingering hesitation.

I'm enjoying your vids, but they sure make me miss my Travelall.

  • the front bumper is pretty sweet

  • Looks kool man like it

  • "What is UP with your headlights?!" LOLZ

  • this guy takes nigger rigging to another level

  • Creativety award goes to you. Hey I built a hot rod 345 once for a 74 Travelall. Take care of that IH. They are good trucks, better if you are good at electrical work.

  • @DobermansRock thanks

  • @beast12101 No, thank you. Its good to see someone want something and make it themselves. Its what us American's are best at. I am tired of seeing people with store bought toys. Hey just an Idea, look into old used ammo cans. I bolted one under the hood of my 73 powerwagon, sealed it with rtv and used it for tools.

  • Wow, super creative. That headlight cover idea's just awesome!

  • I Choked (swallowing food) when you said the covers looked like boobs i was not expecting that lol

  • your a retard

  • i want hids on my 63 chevy

  • Won't they melt the clock. I brought super bright bulbes and the buggers melted the covering

  • i understand you 100% on the 7 inch boob lights, i guess i will also make my own.

i'd rather cut material from behind the lights rather than having them stick out more than stock.

  • Very nice job!

  • I think it looks nice. It looks like something out of the military.

  • +1 for a true retro. Nice work.

  • Awesome. They make your truck look like it's been doing heroine.

  • @UnusualTastes thanks, i think

  • mine are simmilar to this design

  • i have aftermarket headlights on my 86 f150 that has that lens already in them. will the HID KIT still blind the other drivers?

  • @WARD5KUSTOMZ you know Id have to see them, but go to my newer HID video with night shots, and tell me if your lights have a perfect horizontal cutoff, you'll notice in the video that when i turn off the high beams its absolutely pitch black above the cut off, thanks

  • Looks good. I found the link at hidplanet. Very creative. E55's?

  • @dariusreen106 yes, thanks, I just put up a new vid with night shots

  • you could put school bus light cover it protects fromrain snow whatever

  • Lol my wanna upgrade your driver next or try to get the rust off :) lol

    Nice video btw :D

  • that doesnt look bad at all

  • how does the plastic from the clocks hold up to any heat and sun exposure. does it starts to get the haze and burn bubble at all?

  • @libarata no haze yet, holfing up just fine, i did buy a spare just in case

  • I'll make a video with the outside of the car with the lights. Soon hopefully.

  • I have 6k Super white Hid Kit, it's awesome, plus a few more Bright leds in the front.

Thats a pretty big projector. How much brighter does it make the beam, or the light itself?

  • @igorg003 it doesnt change the light output, it shapes it to a nice tight beam pattern, instead of nasty glare

  • @beast12101 Oh i see.

Thats useful, and how is the outside focus points from the pin pointed focus beam.

Does the surrounding area around the beam, to the sides of the road, become darker then without these

  • @igorg003 not at all, you get a perfect uniform beam, with nice cutoff do you dont blind oncoming traffic, think of a half moon. the angle of side dispersion depends on with projector your using. It sounds like you just put the HID bulbs in your halogen housing, right? That is to be avoided at all cost, your glare is the reason people hate HID conversions.

  • @beast12101 No actually i got them last year, Just never seen these kind of projectors you got there. I've been driving for this long and no one ever blinked there lights,, never pulled over, It actually isn't that blinding i checked, just very bright white with good visibility.

  • @igorg003 ok, may I ask what car you put them in, does it use projectors?

  • @beast12101 I own a 04 scion xb, i got the same ones for my dads ford taurus and my brothers camry. All are nice but on the ford it spreads out, and has no focus point, But still a better light then before.

oh and no it has the original stock cap, that blocks the lightbulb's beam, So it's not blinding. Which is a good thing.

  • Kick ass job bro. Looks great.

  • @duffy5811 thanks

  • Nice Job on all the details!!!! I think its awesome you used absolutely random components to finish it off!

to me it looks almost like it was supposed to be their, at the same time increases the WAR WAGON effect...........! Once again GREAT JOB

  • thanks

  • Thats pretty cool. I have a 79 scout i built a set of HID lights for makes a huge difference thats for sure. and i get just as many people ask me about the lights as the truck. Check out my videos of them i have fully built sets for sale as well

  • what truck is that?

  • IH scout

  • That is cool as hell! What a crafty fucker you are lol! I wish I was mechanically inclined such as yourself! When it comes to mechanics I am a total dumbshit! The finished product is awesome dude! Very cool!

  • What kind of tent is that? The camo one?

  • How is that for water intrusion? When crossing small creeks and such?

  • I havent had any problems, even before i finished this project i just had some plexi glass and duct tape for about a year, no problems

  • i was just woundering where you got the projector for the headlight having trouble finding one

  • I got mine on craigslist, but hidplanet has them

  • looks good....

  • Great job. The headlights look really clean.

  • Excellent, great job on the conversion and the video presentation. 5/5 going in my favs

  • Nice job on the retro. Hopefully the clear plastic lens from the clock can withstand the heat and elements. If not, you could just get some Lexan or Plexiglass from Home Depot, which may hold up better.

  • I'm envious, I'd like to do the same thing with my K5 Blazer. 5/5!

  • Just a little comment on your "info". If you already have a projector style headlight, "simply putting HID KITS" is not a "poor excuse for proper lighting". You'll get the same exact and clear CUT-OFFs as the original halogen bulbs and will not blind anyone. Just my 2 cents.

  • not exactly so, a lot of those halogen lamps wont enjoy the added heat that HID brings, and not all projector lenses are made to great standards and have some glare factors, you add HID and it'll multiply the glare.

  • Not quite, ek214. Halogen reflectors are designed to work with certain halogen bulbs, which have the filament in a certain location. HID bulbs are completely different. Changing the position of the light source changes the output of the light. This is why just putting HIDs into halogen housings is a bad idea and creates excessive glare (most of the time). If you want HIDs, retro a set of projectors or don't bother.

  • cool...so advantages to HID?

  • you dont like big boobs???

  • Good work

  • Dude!!! I love how you can look at something and use it for a totally different purpose (clocks). Bravo!

  • They may call that a reducer flange but it looks like the hat that the guys from DEVO wore! LOL

  • wow awesome job

    5/5

  • That's an awesome mod. Great vid as always and a good example of ingenuity! 5/5

  • You missed your calling in life Beast, you should have been a member of the A-team bro.lol

  • LMAO dude i was (and still am) laughing at this video. Its a great idea I will give you that. nice truck by the way. 5/5 *****

  • At first I was like.

    That's

    Not

    Pretty

But at the end it actually looks pretty good.

  • Great job. Looks nice and even, certainly not "possum scarer's"!

Do you still get high and low beam?

Are their 2 lamps in one, like a normal headlight or do you vary the intensity?

  • Looks awesome. I do enjoy your attention to detail. Can't wait to see the next upgrade.

  • excellent as always beast

  • They look "beastly"!

Nice job, way out of my diy league but I found it very interesting.
