I went there when I was 17. My moms BF at the time was from Oaxaca and we drove there from L.A. It was real eye opening experience to drive through Mexico and going to MA was like a pilgrimage. It definetly made me more aware of what it means to have the blood of the Pre Columbians running thru my viens.

i went when i was 13 we also drove there but from Santa Ana its close to LA it took us 4 days. it was so cool
