@Anni0r Oh, oh anni. The film does not propagate the veganism as solution for all problem in human health. This is only a lie from "Vegane Gesellschaft" in Germany and from christian Vagedes.
@sysmjp3 are you saying this justifies killing animals for food? animals are sentient beings able to feel pain, but more importantly are conscious, fear death and long to live. health studies have always been in favour of plant-based diets. there is NO reason to eat animals when the health impacts are clear, and a 100% plant-based diet is considered healthy and without problems. If you put the right fuel in your body, don't be surprised that it runs better!
@sysmjp3 First of all: plants don't have a central nervous system nor a brain to tell them when or where parts of them are in pain. Secondly, and you should really pay attention now: consider this: all of the animals you eat EAT PLANTS — and lots of them. In fact, it takes 5-10 times more plants to produce an animal-based diet than a plant-based one. So even if you believe plants do suffer like animals do, it's still better to be a veg(etari)an than a (self-proclaimed) carnivore.
@notexactlysane just because we feel pain with a central nervous system doesn't mean plants operate the same way. Not like we reproduce by releasing sperm in the air but plants manage to reproduce in their own way.
Nevertheless, you should pay attention because I never mentioned an "animal-based" diet. Humans are omnivores not carnivores so save your second point for lions in Africa.

Fuck family farmed and organic!!! The animals have to die and live in horrible conditions EVEN when they are raised organic.
Go VEGAN, that is the only way.

@Anni0r How do you know vegetables don't suffer and feel pain being farmed and dying as well? It is a living organism.

No need to cut meat and dairy from the diet if you eat seasonally and don't waste food. Not just households but shops and restaurants waste food.
lemsip 10 months ago
@lemsip as long as it's organic meat and diary, or even better, family-farmed.
