i didn't like the show initially but revisited it this season and now i am making my way through season one. i like the twist with the vampire story. it has something different to offer and i love how the vamps are organized and have a monarchy and all that... i think it's great and the hot guys don't hurt either. i just think there's too much sex but that's tv today for ya. u can't advertise a kid's book without a little t & a now-a-days... pity

there are 9 books. you should read them. the show started out very similar, but they have gone completely off track with the show. but i love them both equally.

Oh, no. More than that--9 books out so far. Dead and Gone has just been released this year. The 10th will be next year and many others following.

What i meant was what if most of the audience stops watching it? Then they'll have no choice but to pull the plug,(god forbid!) but i'm hoping they'll manage to do mostly or all of the books before they'll have to cancel it.

I cant wait to see who else comes in over the next seasons. Fingers crossed it will last a long time. If the books are to go by, the show is just going to get better and better.. I can see more actors and actresses being drawn 2 a want 2 be on the show.. Evan was a fan of the show and asked to be on it, so the show found a way 2 work her in... I am sure there will be lots more actors 2 cum, who wanna piece of the true blood action!!

Honestly it´s like Eric said:

"I may not tell you everything I know, but what I say is always true." He never did lie to Sookie, except for the luring her into a blood bond thing, but I think that was romantic and flattering! It really irritated me when Sookie wanted to weaken the bond with ERic casue she didn´t think he ciuld commit. I think tat through all the books, it is SHE who cannot commit, partly because she lost her faith in people after Bill´s indescretion.

And the grandfather comment better be about Eric, I mean yes Neill didn´t like him or other vampires all the same, but if he was refurring to Bill, than I will be pissed. I mean it´s one thing to cheat on someone, but it´s a different story when you lie into their face for another 2 years that that was it, while hiding a worse betrayal.

he wanted to go back to Sookie and be comfortable again. Basically Bill came, did his duty while enjoying himself, and after causing Sookie a near death experience evry day almost, he started to feel gilty. Then he had a new assignment meantime, and got tricked by Lorena for it, however once again why not enjoy it while you can right? Then he still didn´t confess the truth to Sookie. I mean what does that say about his character. When I found out my hopes for a reunion were crushed!

As for the grandfather comment, I guess it can suit to both eric and Bill, but considering the fact that we learned about Bill´s true nature in book 7 , and last time it took sookie 4 books to forgive him for only infidelity, and now se finds out about UTTER BETRAYAL, I don´t think it would be a good move. I mean the books will continue till 2014 so that means 4 more books, and I hope that Eric and Sookie will have a chance. I don´t expect a happy ending, but a suitable one.
