Nice comments guys. David is from a great family. His Dad Jeff is an absolute angel and so is his mom Lupe. The Mormon families are united by their faith. Jeff as a father of then a minor (David was 17 when this video was taped), needed to be there. Lupe remained in Utah with David's sibblings while Jeff guarded David. Jeff is a great, sweet man. Those horror stories are just that: Stories. Naomi Judd, mother of Wynonna Judd and a real stage mother started it all.

Ok, just because you have fair skin does not mean you're white(Ethnicity), there are a lot of latinos who look white but are not. In fact some shows encourage viewers to vote in advance for their favourite. It's time to bring back a judging panel to select the outright winner and a separate award for "Peoples Choice".
