Yeah actually this pretty much resembles dubstep more than it resembles dub...it sounds nothing like reggae (which is obviously what dub is based on) except for the slightly old school style. Also it has none of those echo effects that distinguish dub from reggae. Plus the obviously synthetic baseline makes for a dubstep effect.

I wouldn't classify it as either dub or dubstep, frankly it's neither. But if I had to pick one or the other, it would be dubstep.
