At our zoo, they have tons of peacocks that they allow to wander around the zoo freely. They have one white male and one white female and they're beautiful. I really wish I could get a tail feather from the male. His feathers are gorgeous.

It's nice among most species when the female are the one to choose while the males gets to work showing their stuff, and the female can't be forced into anything, while if I remember correctly there's this specie of frog where they chase the female until they trap her then rape her, and there can be more than one. It's pretty disturbing how that kind of behaviour doesn't simply apply to humans. :/
