Dude.... You don't know shit about either world of warcraft nor this board game. I just started learning about this game, and I played it four hours today with a couple of friends, none of us had played it before. Now I went to youtube to see if there where any good "how to play" but this was so good. You do know a lot, but I think I know more about it, even though I've just tried it in 4 hours.

@Xinqzer He did make quiet a few mistakes with the Nomenclature. One example they're miniatures, not figures, another would be the equipment, where grey would be poor, green is good, blue is superior and purple is epic. They're not "sides", they're factions. But I'm being nit picky there are a couple other that grated but meh he's not scott.

LOL i play wow III+frozen throne; wow classic; wow TBC; i will love to hawe this game becose im a fan of wow but i doubt i will ever play it becose its much harder to understand then rela game and i dont hawe time to play board games, but if i hawe some money i will definetly buy this not for playing but for axesuar like wow collection!

I don't think I'd enjoy this game enough to justify the price. It seems to be an OK game, but I can't say I like the theme and I already have some similar games.

But thanks a lot for an awesome, in-depth overview! It really helps when deciding about buying or not, and also it is really fun to watch. =)

LOL! The dude with the weird hair was my high school biology teacher!! We nicknamed him C-Money. He's actually really cool and really funny. He was a great teacher and very friendly. He introduced me to the card game "Bang!" and "Laser Squad Nemesis". Great to see that he is doing well!

Just learnt the game. Took me few hours. Well done for a 40 minute tutorial (and it isn't even complete!) I'm still a little iffy about the overlord/ event cards fate numbers thing but what I self-learned definitely matched what was taught. Thanks for the affirmation.

@Sharpluke1997 Sure, you can play with yourself. ummm.. err... yes. You could go back and forth. The only point it would fall apart is at the end when the two sides fight, but you could still do it.

@Sharpluke1997 Well actually you need 2 heroes on each side according to the rules. The thing about laying with yourself is that even if you win, you also loose. If you want to play boardgames solo there are a few that are actually made to be able to play solo. Arkham Horror for example.

great video! I just got this game and trying to play with out seeing it done rather than just reading the instructions is hard. This video helped alot with understanding how to set up the game and the process of each turn.

I just finished my first game, with the first expansion, purchased due to this video.

It was tons of fun, Thanks Scott for doing this awesome series letting me know about games and thanks Matt for reviewing the one I eventually purchased.

@anspaughnato: you play with two factions (alliance and Horde if you know the Warcraft setting) and you need at least 2 players. One faction wins the game.
