When i get my stream up theres no audio if i plug in headphones in my pc i can hear game audio i have my xbox set on both speakers and headset the only thing is i cant seem to get wirecast to find stereo mix any help??

How do you get vhscrncap to stick to the hd pvr window? When I select a area and over lap it with wirecast or something else it follows onto a new window instead of recording the pvr.

Can anybody tell me why VHSC is only broadcasting half the screen on Wirecast and why it's UPSIDE down?! I've done everything, including selecting the whole screen, but wirecast still only shows a portion of what I select and it doesn't help that it's upside down. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I figured out a way to fix the whole screen region problem, If you still have the problem that is.

Anyways, all you have to do is go up to "sources" and then go to the dropdown that says "source Settings" or something like that, once there, you can click on the source "VH Screen Cap" or whatever it says for it. Then if you hit "configure", it should reset itself to match up with what the screen capture is actually seeing.

If this is all too confusing I'll post a vid.

@NewCenturyZer0H Hey, I have another question about Wirecast and VH Screencap... I cant seem to get the audio working. Not really sure of what I'm doing, but it won't stream the audio after I select the screen region with VHSC. I know VHSC doesn't support the audio, but I can't seem to figure out how to manually change the audio output in Wirecast. Have you figured this one out too?

Well the way I work mine is I have this audio input called "stereo mix". (Which pretty much is all the sounds that come directly from my computer). What I do is switch my main playback audio on my pc to my speakers aka the stereo mix so that the HD PVR plays all of its sounds through my computer. Once it does that, I go into wirecast, make a new layer on the selected shot that I want, and make the stereo mix my input on that layer. Its simple when shown. I'll probably make a vid.

Just thought I would like to inform everyone that you do not need to use VH Screen Cap. I find it to be laggy myself. WireCast has a "desktop prsenter" which you can use and has a "select region" function as well. Which will serve the same purpose. If needed I could throw up a tutorial on my channel.

Which way has less lag in your opinion? Wire cast or the adobe encoder way?

I am trying this way but I will also try the other way as well to see which is less laggy when streaming. I do not have the best internet. If it dont lag for your viewers when you stream maybe you could tell me what your up and down speeds are so I can compare it to mine. thanks in advance for your help.

Why would you use wirecast for this? Your using Vh Scrcap so Flash Media Live Encoder will work just fine, and it doesn't cost $350+

until someone figures out a way to actually cast with the HD PVR without a screen recording program, it should not be used for casting.
