Um card dude is Gambit. Gambit's powers are to control Raw energy. Which he uses the cards to exert that energy. Which is Why they push him so far back. Gambit was the First mutant i knew of i hated the others and wolverine is overrated. but the movie did connect to the other movies. this was to show you what happened before part one. which it did a decent job on. it definetly showed the origins. And they cant show wolverines childhood. he was born in like 1880's then just lived the rest of time
i dissled that it did not lead into x-1 well. the lab scene and escape did not match his x-2 flashback dream thing. his Wolverine dogtags were wrong. i loved x-1 and 2 i think by x-3 they lost alot when they lost Bryan Singer and David Hayter and got Brett Ratner Simon Kinberg and Zak Penn to replace them.
has this guy picked up a comic book in the last say i dont know thirty years does he really not know who Gambit is you should probably go on wikipedia to figure things out
