  • im shooting 40 lbs for my draw weight does it matter with fixed blades what grain they are or would i need a lower grain due to my low poundage???

  • i shoot muzzy 4 blades. 90 grain. they do some major damage

  • I love your bow but you need to loose the scope. True archers don't use scopes. That's why the invented the cross bow. Other than that its great broadheads and an awesome bow.

  • @GrizzlySpitter18 haha i did that was just what was on it when i bought it i now have a new bow and no red dot sight. but its not a scope!

  • muzzys are the best and always will be!!! your bow is sweet i have a hoyt that is also 60 lb draw. you really dont need any more draw weight than that ive heard of people having over 75 lb draw. do they want the damn thing going thru the deer???

  • how did you ever bag so many deer in one day! and with bow too! does also, you must be in an overpopulated area

  • @Rectifi3r it was a management hunt so there were alot of hunters so the deer were moving around alot also yes i live in an extremely over populted area they were hoping that we would actually harvest more than we did.

  • that linkin park remix is sweet did you do that yourself?

  • hey do you know any websites to get muzzy broad heads of cheaps, in the NT at shops there over $150 AUD

  • @barspin1995 yea if you go to cabelas or just go on cabelas.com they are on sal right now for 22 dollars for the mx-4s and mx-3s and the regular 3 blades are 30

  • pies was jebal

  • Looks like you got enough meat for one year.

  • I've shot muzzy 100 3 blade and 4 blade and for me they just flat out suck! In my personal experience they work well for my older and slower bow. I'm at 27" inch draw, 70 lbs, x force dream season and I can't get them to fly straight with my gold tip arrows. The only one that works for my setup is the magnus stinger 100. Incredibly straight out to 60 yards almost every time. With the muzzy I can't even hit the damn target. Just my personal experience!

  • um are u useung a youth compound bor or aa regular bow

  • @teomar91590 haha im 19 its not a youth bow its bowtech tomkat 60lb draw, 29 inch draw length

  • @jbm4551 haha yeah.

It's your 60lb haha. At Agincourt English archers pulled haha 80 - 120lb bows as standard. One recorded case tells of an armsman of age 14 who used an English longbow pulling 138lbs.

Nah...seriously though...it's not what you pull......it's what you hit that counts.

  • @Bra23we12 haha yea but those are not compound bows there recurve totally different type of drawing but yes i totally agree ive never needed more than a 60 lb bow

  • new and improved muzzy video is on my teams page KNDoutdoors. check it out

  • if you like this vid check out the new muzzy video i made

  • PLEASE!!! Four people shot 11 deer al the same time/day????? PLEASE

More like you were at the deer check station!

  • i love muzzy, they flew so good in my older bow, it was alot slower too. now i shoot alot faster bow and the muzzy 3 blade 100 grain wont fly good at all. ive tried the 4 blades and they were better. just not as consistant as they should be. i swithed over to the crimson talon hyperspeeds and they fly alot better. I WISH MUZZY WOULD MAKE A BROADHEAD FOR FAST BOWS!

  • @axeforce6 really. is ur bow paper tuned cause my friend shot them with an admiral another with a destroyer 350 and another through a mathews hyperlite and they all shoot fine

  • @jbm4551

yeah it is. i actually retuned everything over the weekend. they did fly alot better for me then what they did. just not so consistent at further distances, atleast not as good as i wanted. they are still my favorite broadheads and there the ones i always reccomend. i just think that they should make one that is for faster bows.

  • @jbm4551

yeah it is, shoots bullet holes, im not gonna tune my rest to a broadhead

  • @axeforce6 get a heavier weight like maybe the 175 gram thats what i did

  • @axeforce6 Use straight fletching with a 3 degree offest. Align the blades with the fletching so they are in the same plane. Use a flat surface and with the Trocar tip on the surface spin the arrow. If it wobbles even the least amount heat the insert and re-align broadhead. I've taken over 400 deer with Muzzy 100 grain three blade broadheads. Last kill was with a 52# compound at 27 yards. took out liver both lungs top of heart and smashed through and exited the far elbow stuck in tree.

  • ok i shoot g5 t3 and there great can hold up threw anything. they are way better then rage and i think there better then mathews. o yea if anyone is woundering mathews z7 is GREAT

  • @HUNTER5880 Matthews is a bow company... not arrowhead....and second only to bear

  • 0:50 Damn.

  • hopefully will be coming out with new and improved muzzy video

  • i starte shooting the nap blood runners there really good u should give them a try it really does cut no matter what even if it dosent open which it never fails.. i like them beter then the rages

  • @bucksk8 yea but the thing is they only provide a 1/8 bigger cutting diameter bigger when open and i garuntee they are not as study and well manufactured as a muzzy. but i dont know so i wont trash them buck i cant see them going through a shoulder like a muzzy does

  • @jbm4551 yea i do agree the muzzys can go through a sholder bone with less weight and less fps butt i shoot 65 pounds on a matthews drenelin and it does actuly go through but i rarley hit the sholder i hit the lungs heart or depwnding on angle brisket right between the sholder and nek that kills them but i o also like the muxxys

  • @jbm4551 People just dont understand that Muzzy is the best there is and will be. Jesus shot a Muzzys.........Through a Bear

  • muzzy mx-4 alll the way!!!!!

  • I have some muzzy 3 blades I havn't killed anything with them yet but they look like they can hold up threw any bones or anything I don't think ribs have a chance againts them

  • @hunterwr69 honestly man or lady. no bones can stand up to these have known many people that shoot them through shoulders

  • @jbm4551

well thank you for the reply thats exactly what i've been hoping to hear

  • muzzy's are the best i shot one massive buck with really thick shoulder bones and i shot my arrow with my muzzy broadhead and it shot though both front shoulder of the back front shoulder, and my draw weight is only 55 and the deer was 30 yards away so that broadhead did some huge damage at that distance.

  • i shoot the new muzzy broadheads. love em. drop deer and they fly really fast (:

  • Muzzys all the way only broadhead i use

  • Honestly...In all of my years experience in archery hunting. Muzzy's "aluminum" body is the weakest on the market. They get all there weight from the tricar tip which along with the blades are incredibly strong. I've also noticed that their accuracy is variable right out of the box. I've tried and tried to love Muzzy but just can't. But if they work for you more power to you.

  • seems like a succesfull day?

  • looks like overkill

  • what does a pack of 3 muzzys cost?

do they come in 85 grain?

  • all with a bow!!!!!!!!!!!! man where do u live

  • :52 HOLY CRAP!!!!!! IS THAT IN ONE DAY

  • haha yea and that was only between 30 people so 30 people killed 52 deer that morning.

  • thats sick... and i dont mean cool sick, i mean sick as in, Im a hunter and that is a little over kill,

  • it's called a management hunt. they wanted more than that gone because there so over populated where i live right now.

  • @HumanZoo22 ya in a cuple of metro hunts up here if you gto the tags we were allowed 3 deer with our tag and for 2 dollars we could get more tags but they let it fo one too far and now we are paying for it we have had 2 very bad deer harvests there now wild game manegment i belive should be for a private organization not the stupid DNR they know almost nothing in my opinion in my sate (wi) i think they have faild us

  • @HumanZoo22 are you dumb? why dont you learn about what your talking about before you comment....may god have mercy on your soul

  • you shoot a fred bear buckmaster dont you

  • hell no! only mathews and bowtech. this is my bowtech tomkat only reason im not using a mathews is cause i got a better deal on this.

  • @jbm4551 PSE all the way whole family shoots them and they drop deer NOW!!! Xforce all the way hahah

  • @snowmofrk13 hey wat ever works for you. personally i think bows are mostly about ur personal opinion and how it fits you. obviously there are different qualitys but once u get up to the top brands mathews, bowtech, hoyt, and pse, honestly i would just pick the bow that i feel i shoot the best and not based on what brand is "the best".

  • @jbm4551 agreed haha any new bow will shoot anything and drop it now as long as the correct shot is made

  • @jbm4551 ya i would agree haha i just love my pse but ya all the top bow lines will drop any animal on the planet as long as you make a good shot

  • is dat a red dot for a sight?! if so were did u get the mounting rail for it?

  • well off line. but any bass pro shop or cabelas should sell it if they sell the sight.

  • muzzy's are sweet out of slow bows like your shooting but become a real pain to tune out of faster bows. It looks like your bow has a 9in brace. I could see how my tuning video could blow your mind.

  • not true at all. my dad shoots them out of his crossbow, my freind shoots his out of his mathews pushing 310 fps and my other freind shooting them in his 70# mathews doing 330fps.

  • how do you know it's doing 330? because that's the ibo? My apex 7 at 76lbs using 550 grain arrows shoots muzzy's alright... I'm a fan of muzzy's but I know from shooting them from fast bows especially with small brace heights that they fly left. My king cobra put a muzzy 3 feet to the lft and 2 feet high at 20 yds at 70lbs. my mq1 was a muzzy shootin machine. Your dad's a sissy for shooting a crossbow and I'd wager my apa cobra is shooting more foot lbs then his crossbow

  • no the ibo is like 350 his chrono says 330. and his fly just like his feilds. but some people sya different so i guess its the setup or bow but not speed

  • i think about getting a roll of paper and setting up my rinehart behind it and papertuning for fixed. I got some hella old thunderhead 150 2 blades today for my apex 7. There 2 blade and if I set them up to be perpindicular to my riser then 2 blades fly well for me, papertuning for broadheads would be an awesome step though

  • it's definetly the setup. I lined up the razors on the 3 blade before i fletched my blazers. Made all the difference. just a lil high and left of fields but I'm happy I figured this out. 5inch brace heights are sensitive as hell to changes like this Rage fly's 6inches higher then my fields.

  • yea i beleave him rage is way beter but muzzys still good.. on my cross bow i use muzzys but on my dxt i use rage

  • i just would much rather have a guarantied kill with a good shot rather than worrying about my blades not opening or breaking. a muzzy will go through a shoulder blade a rage wont.

  • you should try rage broadheads i used to use muzzy but after i tried rage i couldnt go back to muzzys

  • hell no. i heard and read reviews and apparently there really good but im not taking the chance of blades not opening or breaking. muzzys do the job perfectly and they will go through anything.

  • i used to be a muzy man, but rage broadheads blow them outta the water

  • i mean 4 blade or 3 blade?

  • well the mx4 s dont have very good reviews and the regular 4 blades dont have as big of a cutting diameter as the 3 blades do. So i shoot 100 grain 3 blades. but its all preference

  • what is better, 4-blade or 2-blade

  • I am useing the exact same set up arrow wise! I have the same arrow and am useing the 100gr 3blade muzzy's!! Our season in TN also starts this saturday!! Im pumped!!

  • yea ive been a couple times but havent had any in range yet

  • get excited people bow season starts in 3 days. well in maryland at least.

  • all the new muzzy users get the practice blades and tune your bow up good. there are videos on broadhead tuning on you tube. they are bad to the bone!! cant wait to git er done

  • took the plunge this year and bought some muzzy's. grouping extremley well!

  • i have killed with 100gr 3 blades and 4 blade 125's the 4 blades put such a big hole in the deer and pig I shot there wasn't blood on the arrow just the fletching. It did spray on the ground though

  • The 100grn muzzys dont shoot very tight groups for me with my DXT out past 40yds capared to the 90grn 4blade shoot very well out past 60yds

  • well i have a bowtech tomkat and they well for me out to 40 but thats my last pin so i dont know about farther than 50 but i might jut have to try the 90s

  • what about slick tricks, atoms, grim reapers, undertakers, spitfires, tekans, strykers, and montecs

  • all nice except im not a big fan of reapers but if i had my choice honestly out of all of those i would choose a muzzy.

  • so ur a muzzy man, huh, well you had any experience with the 4 blade 90 grain?

  • no. im shooting 100 grain 3 blades right now and have shot the 100 grain 4 blade and want to test out the mx3.

  • mx3 is best broadhead, accuracy high, and big wound! 1-1/4 " cut :)

  • ive heard mixed things so i cant wait to give them a real test i believe in muzzy soooo. i think they wont disappoint.

  • ok. i just bought 115 grain 4 blades. try 'em. they wint dissapoint.

  • how many deer did you guys take?

  • that one day 30 between us and out of the whole area in about 3 weeks about 100. it was a management hunt on the Smithsonian cause they are way over populated. and 100 was just a dent in the population.

  • so did you donate the meat or what?

  • haha lets just say the homeless are ganna be eating good for a long long time in that first day we donated 15 deer.

  • if you have any questions on muzzys or other types of broadheads feel free to ask. but please no critisism

  • I love the muzzys, i killed 2 nice bulls here in arizona. I hunt kiabab an the 3yrs that i went you have shots 40 to 90yards thats if the wind isnt blowing.

  • yea thats tight. i live in maryland so all we got are white tail and are usually 20 to 40 yards max.
