The ironic thing was this, OU's defense played their guts out in that game, but when the offense needed to score points, they failed to do so. OU had many chances to win this game I think, they failed to score the points though.

The Gators are a strong team. The Sooners were good, but not quite good enough to best the Gators. As a Sooner fan, the only problem I have is the fact that the media only focuses on the actions(However mundane) of one Tim Tebow, even though it's thanks to the Gators as a whole that they're able to do anything at all. I did see the hit on Ravens McGahee. The rules on helmet to helmet are different in the NFL. Go read the NCAA COLLEGE rulebook. It says just what is printed below and enforced that way. Also, helmet to facemask is the exact same thing as helmet to helmet and defined as such in the rulebook. It goes further to state that if "any offensive player is NOT in the position to defend himself and hit with a helmet-to-helmet, that is a violation". It was a cheap shot by the Florida DB. Plain and simple.
Watch the play real closely and you will see that its helmet to chest. It really is. You can argue all day and they won't change the call. It plain and simple, not helmet to helmet. Thats my opinion, which means sooo much!!

When a non-BCS school holds you to your fewest points of the season you have to scratch your head. The game yesterday and NW game leave me suspecting the Big 12's defense, which didn't do as well as it should have against the weak OSU offense. Perhaps their huge totals are inflated by a lack of defense. Texas's point total was halved versus a big 10 defense.
I expect florida to have a very high score and that OU will score in the mid 20s.

Just watched BCS Championship game again and it's amazing how much cheating the Florida DB's got away with. Hands all over OU receivers. The hit on #1Johnson was not only helmet to helmet, it was a SPEAR which made it a double infraction. No Call. "Intentional helmet to helmet contact is NEVER LEGAL." and "No player shall initiate contact w/the crown of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul." NCAA RuleBook. You don't follow the rules, your a cheater, dude. Go back and watch it again...

I did see the hit on Ravens McGahee. The rules on helmet to helmet are different in the NFL. Go read the NCAA COLLEGE rulebook. It says just what is printed below and enforced that way. Also, helmet to facemask is the exact same thing as helmet to helmet and defined as such in the rulebook. It goes further to state that if "any offensive player is NOT in the position to defend himself and hit with a helmet-to-helmet, that is a violation". It was a cheap shot by the Florida DB. Plain and simple.

Florida committed over 200 yards of penalties that were never called. They held every time they ran the TE shuffle pass to #81. The hit on #1 Manny Johnson on the far sideline at beginning of game was helmet-to-helmet. No call. Stevie Wonder could have seen that one. You know that, GATORS are terrible fans and are so quick to insult anyone and everyone. Lived in Florida my entire life, have family who went to UF and they have great academics but generate really poor style and sportsmanship from their fans. If you where a shirt from any other SEC school (or someone which plays them) they immediately open mouth and insert foot (statistically speaking of course). I think they have a great program but a terribly arrogant demeanor. Truth hurts!

When a non-BCS school holds you to your fewest points of the season you have to scratch your head. Is Oklahoma really as good offensively as the numbers suggest or are the defenses they are facing pretty bad and skewing them? Oklahoma is a great program but Florida is better. The game yesterday and NW game leave me suspecting the Big 12's defense, which didn't do as well as it should have against the weak OSU offense. Perhaps their huge totals are inflated by a lack of defense. Texas's point total was halved versus a big 10 defense.
I expect florida to have a very high score and that OU will score in the mid 20s.
I more or less agree with falloutboy, although 59 is a bit high.
