I am a fan of Kimberly McCullough and the Charactor that she plays. I felt like she and the charactor Patrick experience some tough situation especially the arguments between them leading to sexing the nurses. lol I felt sorry for Robin at first but the ending of this video made me very proud of her, because she had been through so much and she has come out a better person. I still think this video is the best GH tribute to a character that I have ever seen. Great job. I think Patrick was a jerk in the beginning, and Robin changed him when they were together, and he only really became a bigger asshole on NS, and that's why I like to pretend that stupid shitty show never existed. He wasn't really like that on GH. I think they're happy together now, and for the most part, all the bad stuff is behind them. Good job, though. This is amazing. I watched it twice.

Ok, I do enjoy scrubs but I just wanted to comment on this video for the video itself. It was flawless, incredible, amazing. The editing was probably the best I have seen for a fan video, totally perfect and intense and I'm sure painstaking.

For this particular video I used a combination of Windows Movie Maker (with downloaded built in custom effects that originally never came with with the program), Vegas, Pro Show, and a bit of Nero
WOW interesting video. Although I am a scrubs fan I have to say if ever forced to choose Robin would win in my heart everytime. I know Robin has come off as having taken a lot of crap from Patrick but the writers have "new" history of doing this. Look at Lucky. Like with the gene's he comes from he's turn out like he has right!!!

Ok, I'm on like my third time watching this video and I have a new comment lol. The ending makes me so happy. I miss those days! I could just skip to the ending and that would make me happy. I hate the current state of GH.
I've watched it many times and I agree it's the ending that gives me hope and the determination to set Robin free. Patrick has clipped Robin's wings and stepped on them with his heavy all about me ways but he will NOT break our girl. We will no longer allow our voices to be ignored. We will ban together and Free Robin and allow her to fly.
This is an awesome vid. I love Robin and I love Patrick and I love them together. With that being said I don't think I realized how horrible bordering on abusive he had been to her until I saw this video. I am not a Robin watcher from when she was younger with Jason or Stone I only came to know about her when she came back to do Jason's surgery and first met Patrick. I have seen clips of her with both men and agree that she is an awesome actress.
I am beyond impressed with this vid. I am in friggin' awe of it. A punch to the gut that just kept going deeper and deeper. But there was a light at the end: showing all the people who love Robin...loving her. That was excellent. I fail to see how saying this relationship has brought out a side where she "abused" Patrick is a defense of the relationship? I personally see that the sum total of the relationship is two people that bring out the worst in each other and your post sort of supports that. This vid is NOT about setting up another pairing. One of the best I've seen. Patrick can be a real SOB to her but I dont think anything he has done is as bad as what others have done to her. At least Jason could say he was brain damaged what is Patrick's excuse. I disagree about Patrick, but the video maker's point wasn't just to show how abusive Patrick is but to say Robin has not been herself since the day they got together.
They weren't in a relationship when he was having sex with Carly. They were just friends. It was becoming more, but the brain damaged lughead didn't realize that sex is more than just sex. He realized the error of his ways. But Jason was a blank canvas at that point. He didn't understand certain things until he jumped in headfirst and asked questions later. It was very much like a child learning about morality for the first time.
I don't care for the brain damaged logic but Jason apologized. He was crying remorseful & felt self-hate that he hurt her. Patrick has yet to be remorseful/truthful about his axns or comprehend/care that he hurt her. He sees himself as entitled b/c that's what his persona is w/out factoring in Robin or respect 4 her. His love for Robin is imo out of self-gratifying, almost possessive self-interest; his skanky axns, even if they belittle Robin & her opinion of herself, are remorseless fair game.
I think the video was intended and supposed to be one sided and seen through Robin's point of view. Summer made that perfectly clear. Night Shift is apart of General Hospital so therefore they are one in the same. The Leyla and Patrick scenes happened both on NS and GH. I think if your a true Robin supporter you have to be able to remove the blinders and call Robin's behavior out which she also did in this video. Bottom line Patrick brings out the worst in her. Free her already!
yeah i was thinking about this vid again and a lot of the clips were before they even dated and NS. Robin was fine with him being sex with no benefits so that's on her. He did change his mind & was a good boyfriend. SHe $ her friends were the ones who verbally abused abd bullied him b/c he didnt want a baby. I don't understand the argument that this was "before" they were in a relationship. WHO CARES? He still treated her like CRAP (although, much better then he does now). So just because they weren't OFFICIALLY together, it means that he had every right to be a jackass? Robin has apologized for just about everything she has done and MORE. And It's totally ok for you to believe that NS didn't happen, but to some of us, it did. Besides, 90% of it got carried over to GH.

This video was put together wonderfully, but so one sided! The clips are blatanly one sided and pre Scrubs together on GH as well as most taken from Night Shit. I am an avid Scrubs, Robin, and Patrick fan and felt this video showcased Robin in a negative light and is no a pro Robin video at all! Where is strong, independent Robin? Where is Robin the friend, doctor, and woman? All I saw was Robin getting out of context verbal smackdown and crying. Just no words...

The NS Patrick certainly crossed over into GH after NS ended. So therefore he did exist, and the writers made it crystal clear what happened on NS is canon for GH. As to what Robin should do now that she is having a child? She's Robin so of course she isn't going to turn Patrick away should he decide he wants to have some form of contact and share the responsibility in regards to the baby. But as to opening up herself to him. No thanks. Its not worth all the aggravation.
In an ideal situation, its best to have two parents that love and care for the child. Which I would hope would happen with Scrubs. But the writers need to realize in this day and age, children being raised by single parent isn't considered weak, or the child will grow up showing resentment because their parents didn't force it.
All Robin has to do is look at her Parents, her relationship with Duke, and most importantly Mac. And considering all that she has been through, she came out of it a better individual because of single parenting.
I agree that Robin is strong enough to raise the baby on her own, I did see her point initially that she was scared to tell Patrick b/c he didnt want kids and i see her being skepitical. i like this current story cause i see both sides
This was good. Incredibly skewed, but good. A lot of it came from NS, which I and a lot of people didn't watch so it's hard to make that count in my eyes. But I get the point you were trying to make. The only thing is that you seemed to try to make it look like an abusive relationship and to someone who has seen a real abusive relationship--it doesn't even come close. But really, really well put together.
While it may seem skewed because some of the scenes and words are from Night Shift, the fact is, that is how TPTB perceive the character of Patrick and that is the direction they wish to take him (and have taken him) whenever they want to create angst for the pairing of Scrubs. What it amounts to is hurt and humiliation for the character of Robin without any meaningful reparation from him to her regarding his behavior. It's not fair for the character of Robin and not enough for her fans.
The reason I ask is because I too haven't been impressed by the way the character's been written since Kim's return. Robin was one of my favorite characters years ago in the better days of GH, and I hate the way they've sucked the life out of her. That said, they've dug such a hole for the character that I don't see where they could go. When you refer to her history, are you talking about her general personality, her relationship with Jason and Sonny, what?

Well thank you for not deleting my comment this time. This video was made, as all are, to showcase a particular POV. I just happen to disagree that this accurately reflects Robin's POV as *I* view the show. But we all view things from different perspectives. I would surmise that in any real relationship, one could easily put together 10 min of terrible things couples have said to each other, and yet, all of those relationships wouldn't be termed abusive. Just providing an alternate viewpoint.
This video was well over ten minutes (actually well over an hour). Probably the single most difficult task was having to cut most of it out. Trying to calculate a way to fit it all into the time frame limits youtube presented me with. Ten minutes is the max, hence why the video clocks in at exactly 9:59. Otherwise, we wouldn't be dealing with a mere ten minute video here.
I had to condense all that information into a coherent Robin perspective through my eyes and at the same time honor Robin's history towards the end. Its a shame GH doesn't utilize the history of the character as much as they should.
10 minutes try 2 years. Patrick having a few cute scenes here and there doesnt take away all the hateful thing he has said to Robin. this is a classic case of mental abuse its just sad you cant see that.But i guess we all see what we choice to see.

ugh!! You reminded me of all the times Patrick got to have the last word, or was made to look right(even though that isn't what I saw at all, but Guza's a sexist pig!!). Great job. I think Patrick was a jerk in the beginning, and Robin changed him when they were together, and he only really became a bigger asshole on NS, and that's why I like to pretend that stupid shitty show never existed. He wasn't really like that on GH. I think they're happy together now, and for the most part, all the bad stuff is behind them. Good job, though. This is amazing. I watched it twice.

Ok, I do enjoy scrubs but I just wanted to comment on this video for the video itself. It was flawless, incredible, amazing. The editing was probably the best I have seen for a fan video, totally perfect and intense and I'm sure painstaking.

I know Robin has come off as having taken a lot of crap from Patrick but the writers have "new" history of doing this. Look at Lucky. I've watched it many times and I agree it's the ending that gives me hope and the determination to set Robin free. Patrick has clipped Robin's wings and stepped on them with his heavy all about me ways but he will NOT break our girl. We will no longer allow our voices to be ignored. This is an awesome vid. I love Robin and I love Patrick and I love them together. With that being said I don't think I realized how horrible bordering on abusive he had been to her until I saw this video. I am not a Robin watcher from when she was younger with Jason or Stone I only came to know about her when she came back to do Jason's surgery and first met Patrick. I have seen clips of her with both men and agree that she is an awesome actress.

I am beyond impressed with this vid. I am in friggin' awe of it. A punch to the gut that just kept going deeper and deeper. But there was a light at the end: showing all the people who love Robin...loving her. That was excellent. I don't care where you fall down on J&R or Scrubs, you gotta give it up for an exceptionally well done mvid with masterful timing and layers of clips, colors, audio and soundtrack. Just...hells yeah. I fail to see how saying this relationship has brought out a side where she "abused" Patrick is a defense of the relationship? I personally see that the sum total of the relationship is two people that bring out the worst in each other and your post sort of supports that. This vid is NOT about setting up another pairing. As has already been said, this isn't about JnR, but about the current portrayal/use of Robin's character as a whole. Earlier, summerstarr882 wrote "some constant friendship interaction with Jason would be appreciated (more importantly Sonny). Her bridge is destroyed, no mention of Stone, no frequent interaction with Mac who was her rock, she has no deep friendships anymore, She barely knows Maxie, Lucky, Luke, her friendship with Nikolas is near non existent. We can go ahead and do a comparison video between Robert and Mac and who was a better father figure to the video. Patrick treated her like crap and this video showed exactly why. Jason never cheated on Robin.
They weren't in a relationship when he was having sex with Carly. They were just friends. It was becoming more, but the brain damaged lughead didn't realize that sex is more than just sex. He realized the error of his ways. But Jason was a blank canvas at that point. He didn't understand certain things until he jumped in headfirst and asked questions later. It was very much like a child learning about morality for the first time.

I think the video was intended and supposed to be one sided and seen through Robin's point of view. Summer made that perfectly clear. Night Shift is apart of General Hospital so therefore they are one in the same. The Leyla and Patrick scenes happened both on NS and GH. I think if your a true Robin supporter you have to be able to remove the blinders and call Robin's behavior out which she also did in this video. Bottom line Patrick brings out the worst in her. Free her already!

yeah i was thinking about this vid again and a lot of the clips were before they even dated and NS. Robin was fine with him being sex with no benefits so that's on her. He did change his mind & was a good boyfriend. SHe $ her friends were the ones who verbally abused abd bullied him b/c he didnt want a baby. I don't understand the argument that this was "before" they were in a relationship. WHO CARES? He still treated her like CRAP (although, much better then he does now). So just because they weren't OFFICIALLY together, it means that he had every right to be a jackass? Robin has apologized for just about everything she has done and MORE. This video was put together wonderfully, but so one sided! The clips are blatanly one sided and pre Scrubs together on GH as well as most taken from Night Shit. I am an avid Scrubs, Robin, and Patrick fan and felt this video showcased Robin in a negative light and is no a pro Robin video at all! Where is strong, independent Robin? As a Robin fan for well over 20 years I am glad to see this video has been made. The NS Patrick certainly crossed over into GH after NS ended. So therefore he did exist, and the writers made it crystal clear what happened on NS is canon for GH. As to what Robin should do now that she is having a child? She's Robin so of course she isn't going to turn Patrick away should he decide he wants to have some form of contact and share the responsibility in regards to the baby. But as to opening up herself to him. No thanks. Its not worth all the aggravation.

In an ideal situation, its best to have two parents that love and care for the child. Which I would hope would happen with Scrubs. But the writers need to realize in this day and age, children being raised by single parent isn't considered weak, or the child will grow up showing resentment because their parents didn't force it.

This was good. Incredibly skewed, but good. A lot of it came from NS, which I and a lot of people didn't watch so it's hard to make that count in my eyes. But I get the point you were trying to make. The only thing is that you seemed to try to make it look like an abusive relationship and to someone who has seen a real abusive relationship--it doesn't even come close. But really, really well put together.

While it may seem skewed because some of the scenes and words are from Night Shift, the fact is, that is how TPTB perceive the character of Patrick and that is the direction they wish to take him (and have taken him) whenever they want to create angst for the pairing of Scrubs. What it amounts to is hurt and humiliation for the character of Robin without any meaningful reparation from him to her regarding his behavior. It's not fair for the character of Robin and not enough for her fans.

The reason I ask is because I too haven't been impressed by the way the character's been written since Kim's return. Robin was one of my favorite characters years ago in the better days of GH, and I hate the way they've sucked the life out of her. That said, they've dug such a hole for the character that I don't see where they could go. When you refer to her history, are you talking about her general personality, her relationship with Jason and Sonny, what?

Obviously I'm a J&R supporter, so some constant friendship interaction with Jason would be appreciated (more importantly Sonny). Her bridge is destroyed, no mention of Stone, no frequent interaction with Mac who was her rock, she has no deep friendships anymore, She barely knows Maxie, Lucky, Luke, her friendship with Nikolas is near non existent. Jax who? etc., It's just a waste of this legacy character when she is subjected to being nothing more than a glorified extra.

you did an amazing job with this video. the voice overs in the back, the editing, its perfect. i have always been just ok with scrubs, but i had no idea how many horrible things patrick has said to robin over the episodes. wow. you did a phenomenal job.

Well thank you for not deleting my comment this time. This video was made, as all are, to showcase a particular POV. I just happen to disagree that this accurately reflects Robin's POV as *I* view the show. But we all view things from different perspectives. I would surmise that in any real relationship, one could easily put together 10 min of terrible things couples have said to each other, and yet, all of those relationships wouldn't be termed abusive. Just providing an alternate viewpoint.

This video was well over ten minutes (actually well over an hour). Probably the single most difficult task was having to cut most of it out. Trying to calculate a way to fit it all into the time frame limits youtube presented me with. Ten minutes is the max, hence why the video clocks in at exactly 9:59. Otherwise, we wouldn't be dealing with a mere ten minute video here.

I had to condense all that information into a coherent Robin perspective through my eyes and at the same time honor Robin's history towards the end. Its a shame GH doesn't utilize the history of the character as much as they should.

10 minutes try 2 years. Patrick having a few cute scenes here and there doesnt take away all the hateful thing he has said to Robin. this is a classic case of mental abuse its just sad you cant see that.But i guess we all see what we choice to see.

Even though I love Scrubs and root for them 'cause I think deep down he loves her but he's just a scared little boy (I know the type well, hah) and they're the only reason I watch/bother downloading, this video was AMAZINGLY well put together. Kudos from a Scrubs shipper, LOL.
