  • that video is mental! im irish watched many nigerian videos by big artists..they dont compare to this..i only heard about this guy after he died..he was so young no messin about with him..such a shame..you could see it in his face..i dont understand yoruba obviously but id play this any day!!

  • Hey does anybody understand Yoruba, what was that he says about igbos around 1:51?

  • @challiboi He was trying to explain how the ibo marketers in alaba market played with him when he was looking for a record deal. He said the ibos played with me like ugwu (pumpkin leafs). Its nothing racist everyone had that experience, even Timaya had same story.

  • I'm a Ghanaian and I don't understand a word of what this guy is saying in the song, [I hope there were subtitles] but I'm feeling DA GRIN a 1000%. I guess good music (and video) knows no language. RIP Da Grin. CLASSICS NEVER DIE. Da Grin was a CLASSIC!

  • waouw such a great video !!! I seriously hope it got a prize or something in Nigeria . This is so well shot .

  • R.I.P DA GRIN

  • The producer of the beat, the director of the music video and Dagrin himself are just too much. Wow, really impressed. Unfortunately, I am now hearing that Dagrin is dead. A pure raw talent wasted. Fuck Dead. Shit, too hard to take this. Just discovered Dagrin today and...

  • pon pon pon dint reign no one heard until he died why?

  • still listening to Dagrin forever...Rip

  • I wish you could wake up like lazarus and sound the warning ........"I know say heaven dey Even GOD dey" AWa to ku ki ase aye reeee ooooooooo.

    Rest in peace CEO.

  • this is my hood!!! 9ja boy...i miss home

  • dagrin is dead OMG

    how did he die

  • I dont know his music until after his death. And really get to like the song. Just felt bad that such a talented young guy could dieeeeeeee!!!!

  • its sad that things keep happening this way in our beloved nation. A country without a functioning theatre academy yet blessed with such abundant talents. i mourn Dagrin with millions of Nigerian music lovers all over the world.

  • If only there was strict rules on driving in nigeria like in europe and america, this aboundant talent would still be here with us. if only our ruler would become leaders Da grin would still be here. Rest in peace kid. What a talent to loose

  • @nmpystar If only the hospitals in Nigeria actually function as Real Hospitals I have been to LUTH before and people don't come out Alive In 2007 I saw a guy on 3rd mainland bridge who was hit by a car I took him to LUTH First thing they did was called the police on before they actually look at him which was like 4hours latter my guy was talking he was actually thanking me saying people don't that in Nigeria

  • anyway came back the next day he was dead could not believe it and I was charged by the Police it cost me N2million to get out of it and all I did was to take some1 to the Hospital

  • @jointznjamzEnt, yea, tell me about it, tell me about it. I also have stories (including some personal ones) of people who died in hospitals there and had they been given the proper care, they would still be living today, including some personal ones. We have a long way to go in Nigeria, a long way. I don't know when things are going to start changing in that country. And N2million just to get out??? How much are they charging those who're actually getting the care?? Crazy...

  • @yb4real Amen My Brother and may God Bless Us All

  • @jointznjamzEnt hw du u expect ppl to come out alive!!!!!!they use ppl 4 exprerment at luth...cos is a skooling skool, dat where up coming doctor learn..

  • @nmpystar huh! wat rules do u want? isn't it the individual's responsibility to protect himself particularly when the situation isn't the safest.

  • @ikpeme This guy is young and naive. He is called the C.E.O omota, he grew up from the streets with no opportunities at all and suddenly found himself where he never expected. Anyone can be carried away by success, that is why we have the police and other govt agencies to control these things. I live in Belgium and sometime ago i had a bottle of hennessy and was driving home and the police caught up with me, i was billed and my drivers licence was taken from me for many months.understand me now

  • Rest in peace Dagrin..I'll never forget you!!
