Hi Beth. On the 4th row (the first one with the 6 red stitches) on the last 2 red stitches, you've carried along (and hiding) the pink one, but you didn't cross the yarns (or maybe I miss it) wouldn't that leave a hole? 'Cause when you were going the other way, you cross them.

@nataliaruth It does not leave a hole as much as in knitting. I do make mistakes once in a while. It is good to stay consistent.

hi i love this video and i am workin on a bigger project of a dolphin how would i do a half a square im totaly confuse on how to do that can you please help me

@ladykadiva39 I'm not sure what you mean by a half a square. Do you mean a diagonal shape? I recommend a book called Stitch Collection Filet Crochet by Betty Barnden. There are charts, diagrams and instructions for lacets, reverse lacets, & bars. To create shaded and diamond shaped spaces.

I say in an upcoming video. This square can be included in an afghan, as a pocket on a pair of bibbed over-alls for a little girl, on a purse, the back of a baby sweater, et.el. Use your imagination!
