  • This Seymour is incredible!! My boyfriend played Seymour back when my school did this show, and I still say that the Seymour in the video is a thousand times better.. :D

  • I'm trying to convice my school to do this next year. How did you manage to make the plant move and such?

  • i dont like audry's voice it always the same. If yo listen to the original it changes in volume

  • LOL at the extra dramatic pause.

  • this is awesome! i luv that long pause between the lines feed me and i beg your pardon! what was your puppet made of? i like how it glows in the dark!!!!!! 8D

  • seymour isnt suppose to be hilariously funny this guy is over the top

  • @JoelRichy Seymour isn't supposed to be anything.

It's how the actor interprets the character and how well they pull it off.

In this case, the actor takes a more comical approach and pulls it off incredibly with hilarious results.

  • i love that long reaction after 'feed me'

  • nice mumbling, plant. seymore sings wayyy better

  • ooo this seymour is a cutie

  • Why is Audrey 2 a freakin' zebra?!

  • haha akward silence i loved his face during that part

  • This is really good for a high school production.

  • seymour sounded great but the plant didnt sound good at all imho

  • This is honestly the best performance of little shop i've seen on youtube

  • the real plant is so much better, this one has either no talent, or is tone def

  • yea he is really good

  • This is great! Fantastic performances and great singing!

  • could you please upload suppertime?

  • we did a play of that and trevor was seymore. but your alls plant looks more non realistic but still awesome on its design lol :P

  • the plant's voice was really good, and in terms of the low pitch that the voice usually requires, it was really good. my only criticism is that the voice needed a little more roughness to it, and at points he could have gone up an octave when he was singing really low to kinda bring some more energy to it. really well done though, seymour was really great and lively as well

  • Plant voice is pretty good!

  • Seymour's got the moves!

  • Seymore is so good! And so cute, too!

  • Lol, we just had this play, our seymour was pretty good too, the plant too!

Those girls in the choir innoys me, and pulls his voice down on the "I don't know"-part :/

  • My school's doing this and I'm playing Seymour.

I secretly can't wait for this scene.

  • I'm Seymour in my play...

His "I don't know" was absolutely phenomenal. I'm horribly stuck on that part. He's a good actor, not the best, but good.

  • 3:14 !!! you see a leg of the person who is steering the plant!!!!! whahaha

  • this seymore is the best!!!!! he's damn good! (wish i was audrey!!!!)

  • The pause was way too long.

  • I've watched most of the video's of this production of little shop of horrors on youtube and it looks amazing! it's so funny and everyones really good! i love the scenery with the two floors, i wish the whole production was on youtube :) lol x

  • this seymour is the best on you tube!

  • better than those other gay ones on youtube

  • The distance of time between the lines "Feed me" and "I beg your pardon" was too long but you can't really fix that after almost three years.

  • @Shade183 i thought that was kinda funny!

  • @Shade183 Well, how would you react if your plant just started to talk to you?

The're trying to make it realistic

  • I'm sorry, but the pause was still far too long to be realistic, even when compared to other LSOH plays. If my fly trap started talking to me, I would have reacted faster.

  • @Shade183 Well, even if that is true, the audence din't seem to care. Niether did our audience when we did the ame thing

  • I didn't say everyone cared, just that I did.

  • @Shade183 Its not suppose to be realistic, its suppose to be funny and over the top. Everyones entitled to the own personal i guess but i think it was good :)

  • @Shade183 it adds alot of comedic effect imo

  • @Shade183 I actually think the pause worked pretty well. It got a great reaction from the audience, and that's what counts the most.

  • the voice itself was good, but otherwise it seemed like it would be better with a voice more like the movie

  • You guys are the best high school production on youtube.

  • Kings Park High School had a good set, plant and plant voice

  • look at the KPHS version

  • I love that kid!

He is so perfect for this part! He is absolutely adorable.(:

    I like him. A lot.(:(:(:

  • lol... Audrey and the dentist was great. I almost cracked up when Seymour danced like that. But Audrey 2 was too serious. He was too plain and not emotional at all.... 3/5...

  • Brilliant Show - Awesome.

  • Your little shop is so funny but we were told to do it serious which doesn't really make sense with all the jokes in the script

  • he is a really good actor i think he did a great job but the girl who played audrey did alright. but he was awsome. he deserves 2thumbs up

  • He deserves like 8 thumbs up!!

    lol!! Hehehe :)

  • 5:25 is the best part lmmfao

    love this!!

  • Seymour is awesome in this!

I don't agree with the great big pause neiva at the beginning- too long. The plant needs to have more manipulation and sarchasm in his voice bit boring tbh, its the same in every line.

My School is doing LSOH in a few weeks and i'm playing the voice of Audrey 2 & i'm a 15yr old girl! Can't wait will get some vids on here hopefuli wen we've done it!

    ;p

  • omg you are really amazing. My i am girl and have been given the part of seymour at ym performing arts school. I am a tad worried. Any advise on how to play it would be appriciated! x

  • Holy creap!!!

Where did you get this guy?!?!?

  • lol. I meant crap

  • Oh, I Loved it lol :D

  • no offense

but the plant can NOT sing

    he's just speaking

    it's awful

  • I adore the Seymour! So excellent! His voice is wonderful and his stage presence is so strong! But... the Audrey II has a lot lacking. A good deep voice and strong, but its so monotone. None of the emotion that was in the original or the higher pitches that made his voice sound so slick and sickly and awesome. I love the puppet and puppetry though! And I had to laugh at Seymour's booty shake!

  • your set is amazing!!!

  • for a high school production, this is pretty good - and that Seymour is AWESOME!!!!

  • Why is Rick Moranis the only Seymour to not wear a hat 3/4 of the time?

  • The reason rick moranis doesn't wear a cap in the film is because it's not essential to the script, however there are lines in the stage script that refer to seymour's baseball cap being found as evidence at Orin the dentist's surgery. I hope that makes sence. :)

  • Thank you for the information.

  • That was really funny. xD I've never seen a more animated Seymour anywhere, he looked like he was having a great time with it. Your Audrey II is awesome, too, whoever was controlling the puppet is made of win. I agree with what a few other people said, though, could've improved on the voice a bit.

  • Broadway is waiting for the kid in the glasses! Get your ticket now, cause you will be going!

    -Emile

  • shouldnt the mushnik florist be backwards? lol

nice job though great singing and acting

  • I love this Seymour! He's a great singer, and a great actor. He nailed this part even better than Rick Moranis. Not to mention this guy is pretty cute, to boot.

  • I swear, after a hard day of work, it seems like my stomach is singing this song.

  • I loved it, but there's no emotion in Audrey 2's voice. He has the same tone when he says every word. Accent the words more! Other than that, Great job Seymour!

  • Brilliant!

  • Seymour looked a bit pissed off when he turned to the audience.

  • The Seymour's pretty good but I think the Audrey II is lacking. He's seems pretty monotone to me.

  • Seymour is amazing! i can't even describe the greatness! it almost too good! if you cant tell i love it!

  • This Seymour is doing such a great job!

Our Seymour for the middle school play looks nothing like him.

    Or the other one either.

    (We have double-cast)

  • Well he didn't looked scared at all, that was his problem...

  • The lad playing Seymour puts on a powerfully heartfelt rendition. Truly grand.

  • OMG! I have liked watch every scene you have posted up of this show because you are just so good and captivating as seymour! Like I literally laugh my ass off of my chair watching you! You are an amazing actor and have a fantastic voice!

  • the seymour is really good =D

  • GREAT set and great performance.

  • seymore's cute,yo.

  • this is really one of the best high school productions i've seen of this

  • No. Thunderbird high school is better. But I like this one too.

  • i want to abduct your seymour and orin! they're absolutely fantastic!

  • The plant looked amazing, and the lipsyncing was good, the only thing I noticed was that who ever voiced the plant seemed to slow down a lot so that who ever was operating the plant could catch up in places that it dragged.

  • seymour's my hero!!!!! you dance so much funnier than our Seymour

  • wow the guy who played Seymour was brilliant! his voice is amazing! they did a wonderful job, everyone!

i hope my school can put on a production as good as this one! =D amazing job!

  • *lol* I love his Seymore's reactions, especially after Audrey 2 talks.

  • BRAVO BRAVO !!

  • the guy did seymore like PERFECT

  • Im Seymour my school is doing that :)

  • hes so good great acting i just didnt like the puppet (plant)

  • Yeah, the puppet was a bit distracting, seeing as the mouth moved after the voice XP But it was still very good.

  • I like the plant. it isn't very elaborate but the lip syncing is good and the voice is good.

  • I personally don't agree with the long pause at the beginning...it's awkward and detracts from the scene but heh.

    Good job.

  • lol my school is doing this play this year im skip snip or w/e idk lol

  • This is the second best stage version of LSOH on You Tube, you guys were marvelous! Seymour is just awesome, as is Audrey, Orin, and of course Audrey 2!

  • i ♥ his geeky dance!

  • Seymour is so CUTE!! I luff him! And he can sing!

  • In reply to eeyorerox:

There's someone inside of it! Our school is doing this production... GO BEAR RIVER! But, We are renting the plant from the Utah Shakespearean Festival Organization... (it's like a professional one! Real nice) And someone is inside it controling it.

  • my high school is doing it to!

  • Oh cool!!! When we perform it i will post some bits and peices on here and then we can compare on who's is more rockin!

  • how did u get the plant to move?

  • y is the plant white?

  • He overplays the first time audrey 2 talks. Way way wya overplays it.

  • uh ya just a bit

  • oh my goodness. seymour is AMAZING.

  • seymour, you're really great at this, stick with this, i think it's what you were meant to do.

  • great job you guys!

  • Why does the audience go into a frenzy when he goes "I don't knooooww"? xD I mean, he does it very well...but this confuses me.

  • because it is amazing that a guy can hit that note....and probably half the guys at anyone's school can't hit that note.....basically...

  • because the plant is dancing

  • lol, that's what I was thinking... lol

  • I love your Seymour!!!!

  • Yeah! We did this one just last year. I was the "Stage Manager" and also painted/designed sets. It was very fun! But the plant weighed somewhere around 250 pounds!

  • the one who playing simon is doing it good and funny, but the plant dosent sing as well as the real one

  • Simon? u mean Seymour...lol

  • the plant could have been better

  • Really good! Seymour braking into those silly dances was too good!

  • Exelent production i really want 2 see that seymores voice is exelent 10/10 dis vid is

  • Cool. Sure, the plant could use a little work with its words, and they could talk a little slower like in the movie, but this is good anyways!5/5

  • aww wow .. my schools doing this were using puppets for good old towey..

  • When seymour started to sin g"i dont know..." i got chills! He has a great voice, but i agree the plant doesnt have much emotions

  • Whoever plays Audrey 2's voice is awful. No emotion at all.

  • oh my god this is sooo good! sepcially semour, udry was good too, the plant voice was abit off though lol. other than that brilliant!!!

  • OMG please come to NY and sing to me. lol so amaazingg i love you ahhhh!!! great acting. i watched the other vids and the girls are horrible tho. if i saw this id be like "thank god for that seymour" LOL

  • He did ok. I just hate how everyone over plays the comic side of Seymour's personality. The character has more to offer than comedy but usually that's all you see. Overall he was funny but like others before me I thought he was a ham.

  • great play

  • THAT WAS FUNNY!!!! Seymour's little dance was pretty good and dorky like it should be his reaction to the first "Feed me!" was hilarious! 5 Starts and favorite!

  • lmao feed me

  • the guy who plays Seymour is reeally good!

  • LOL

    audrey2:"feed me"

    seymour: ...

  • that is just too good!!! the plant could have done a little better voice-wise, but other then that...

  • okay please tell me your gonna consider going into acting cuz your really good, very enjoyable.

  • This seriously can't be a High School play. It's so good!

  • That's exactly how I would have reacted if a plant started talking to me!

  • This. Was. Awesome.

Seymour did an awesome job. They picked a good plant voice too. If it wasn't so... monotone, then it'd be like... joygasmic.

  • This Seymour is legendary, as is Mushnik in the Mushnik & Son video.

  • Anyways, Seymour: Next star on Broadway.

  • Must've been hard to keep up the act during the pause lol.Too bloomin' funny!Lubb the vid!

  • Are you people kidding? The pauses were hilarious!!!

  • i agree.

  • He is REALLY good.he was funny and sweet sounding i like him as a performer really talented.

  • why does seymour look like a burn victim?

  • When I think of Audry II, my mind goes directly to Bootsy Collins.

  • this guy is amazing! but i think the plant could have had a better voice. sounds too monotone.

  • the audrey is absolute gobshite!........

the scat girl called.... she wants her voice back

  • the kid was great but audrey's singing was too monotone and low

  • Pause was too long indeed. But awesome.

  • Overall, great job. Great set, great casting, and great job with the Audrey II movements. Couple problems I had. I don't think the pauses were funny. It was funny at first, but went on too long and lost the effect. The dancing was funny but distracting. It took away from the plant's lines, especially considering the audiences reaction. Seymour is the lead, but every line is important especially here when Audrey shows his personality. You couldn't hear a word he said.

  • ok so this kid is pretty much amazing...

  • wow the plant is really cool! and i think the pause was funny!

  • the plant is so vibrant! the pause is too long i thought seymour was going to like kill the plant and make stuffed cabbage... in fact it was that long i couldve made stuffed cabbage.

  • The dude playing Seymour has impeccable comic timing. What a star!

  • I loved the pause- incredibly funny and quite realistic given the circumstances!

  • Pause was too long. The song could have been better overall, but I think it was pretty good. The Seymour was great, but so was the plant.

  • From 1:04 to 1:47 is a horribly to long pause, there is another pause to long from the end of the song to "so go get it". My biggest disappointment is seymour singing the "i don't know section". This is the first song in the play for seymour to belt it out and i was just hoping for him to do that.

  • As far as emotion and line delivery goes, I believe it should be semi immediate shock after the first "feed me" not a grudgingly long pause, the next line, "twoey, you talked..." would compensate his great surprise. emotion in the finale of the song was something to be desired. he's essentially saying he'd murder for audrey's sake! I mean, Audrey was just verbally and physically abused infront of Seymour... he loves her, doesn't he? Honestly...pssh

  • As for the vocals, The Plant I thought was pretty good.. Seymour: taking it down the octave at the end (guy sure looks like plantfood to me)and essentially copying the original CD's version of 'I don't know" made the number a bit dry.

As for movement, I found that Seymour just stood stagnant for much of the number, barring, of course, the overacted twist section.

  • I detected that the actors had a complete loss of knowing what the scene is completely about. This scene is pivotal to Seymour's future and playing it mostly for camp humor was taking it too far. The previous number (Mushnik and Son) creates a nice balance between the tense and desperate theme of this song.

  • responce to Indo/filipino audrey the girl countering me in our production is Filipino/Black. She is so fine and sooo talented. Reppin' the preps. LAter!

  • Our school is doing LSOH right now...I can only hope that it'll turn out as good as this one. Kudos to the guy that played Seymour. Great voice, great timing, and FANTASTIC dance moves!

  • Our high school just did this, and we got nominated for 5 tommy tunes. (that's the texas state high school equivalent to the Tony's) One being Best actor : Justin Finch as Seymour.

  • This was pretty good. My high school did this show this year. But I must say that our plant was a lot better. We had the actual one from broadway...

  • That was great. Haha. My little sister's doing this show for their highschool production this year. Haha. I love how Seymour milked that pause for all it was worth. xD He did a great job.

  • And Seymour has some rad dance moves. Seriously, he could dance like that anyway and I'd tap that.

  • Seymour was excellent. He has a future in musicals.

  • Wow. My director just announced that the school's production next year would be Little Shop of Horrors so i looked at clips on youtube. I think this version of Seymour is one of the most entertaining, has one of the best voices, and is by far, the best looking. Ha ha.

I think I'd want to be Audrey, but i don't think the world's ready for an indian/filipino audrey.

  • LOL agreed that Seymour rocks. And I would be ready for a filipino/indian Audrey. As long as she can sing?

  • oh, she has to sing?

    kidding. i can sing.

  • Wow, I'm impressed! A high-school actor with a sense of comedic timing! Who knew? Lol. Most are afraid of silence and spit their lines out as fast as possible. That takes guts. Kudos to you! *tips hat*

  • Nice, and the pause was used to great effect, it drew out the tension and comedy aspect of that moment when the plant first speaks, good stuff, hats off to ye.

  • That plant puppet is probably the best Ive seen for a highschool or college production. Excellent job guys!

  • When we did it last year at my high school. We actually managed to get the real broadway puppet. it was fucking insane.

  • i dont think the pause was too long. He judged according to the audiences reaction and they seemed to appreciate it. The best seymour on youtube that i've seen

  • OK that pause was wayyyyyy too long.
