Is that the line 6 mm4? I didn't know it had synths... I've never heard of these guys but I love seein gear that's been played forever I hope my tele looks like that strat one day... and that 3rd guitarists board is drivin me nuts! Its so... just... ahhhh... sorry, ocd moment...
The one guy has that mysterious red boss pedal taped out....does he want it kept secret?....I bet it's that little known XTORTION xt-2 or whatever it was they had for awhile that had like a weird half cocked wah effect you could dial in.
uh, no they don't? I have been using garage band for over a year now and if anything you get WAY more options of sounds within the effects than you get on these overpriced pedals.
@LittleEmoBoy001 why would you want to use garageband live? plus i wouldnt say pedals were overpriced, theyre powerful and robust which is good for live situations where youre likely to give them a bit of a beating..
You can program an all purpose external pedal to activate all the garage band effects from, say, a laptop. Then label them yourself. For not so famous musicians who don't have alot of money, this would be a better alternative than buying 20 different pedals. More effects for less money is win win.
I wouldn't say so. They take a lot of tweaking and time, but with enough patience they can sound very good. The biggest problem that I find with the use of digital effects is people set them up like analog effects. This is problematic because digital effects tend towards being very warm and somewhat muddy, and in the case of distortion models tend to be excessively gainy. The key is knowing how to compensate for certain undesirable tendencies of digital effects.
@BrixSnBs By the looks of it the pick-ups and bridge that are in it now don't look much better! I'm sure I read that Fender made Mike a clone of his Squier, but I might be mistaken.
@madpaintbalerx Japanese squiers from that period are quite coveted by collectors nowadays. You'd be looking to spend about as much as an american standard for one on ebay.
what's mike vennart's dialect btw? sounds weird but kinda cool.

I dearly want to get that Chunky Cheese pedal. Look it up. In my opinion it's the best fuzz I have ever heard.

@46lar I'd say no but, they prbly just send him everything. Dudes a minimalist in his gear and he's a righty. So it's dumb enough to be true.

Haha I love how he took a Squier and turned it into an amazing guitar. I didn't even know you could make a fucking squier that good.

@madpaintbalerx Yeah it's great :) But usually it's just the pickup's and/or bridge that are low quality on cheap guitars.
