So this one works like the original XM radios before that November 2006 ban on how strong the recievers could be in putting out signals over FM frequencies???????
If so I will snatch one up,if not,its a horrible deal if it still needs to be hardwired..
@mrcs30 As you said, the FCC ban was due to a strong modulation of the older receivers. This new PowerConnect follows the new regulations while still allowing for wireless FM transmission. This is a great unit and I hope you enjoy it!

@JamesGSorr That is something that will vary depending on your vehicle and your personal taste, and the amount of time you want to put into it. If you want to do it and make it look like a professional install then you're looking at a project that, if it's your first time doing it, will probably take 2-3 hours and will typically involve removing your dash cluster as well as the arm rest, possibly the back seat or at least some trim and possibly some minor adjustments in the trunk.
