OverPower always felt like it was trying to ride the ccg wave of MTG. I tried it out, bought several starter decks and booster packs, but I just couldn't get into it, despite being a comic book nerd. I stuck with MTG until I reached high school.

You reminded me of seeing ads of this in comics and was really interested in getting them, but none of my friends ever got into it and I never did...but too bad, the game looks awesome! Your collection looks extensive and brand new (And that Warlock figure looks bad ass)! Good stuff!

It would be awesome if you could post a play through tutorial, and a building tutorial. I would really like to get into this game, but don't really understand some of the higher points of the rules.

If anyone is interested in Overpower there is a forum that is dedicated to the game and filled with people who still play and tons of information for anyone who would like to start playing. There are even tournaments being organized. Just google Overpower Forum and it should be the first result.

@wpgme85 Ya, I collected most of the early 90s cards myself and the last cards I collected where Overpower. I Never did get into heroclixs, though it looks like I would have liked it. Played some Warhammer 40K for awhile.
Great video. I still have all my Overpower cards as well. My friends and I also created our own characters to play with representing our own creations as well as characters they never created. Sadly we pretty much gave up on overpower when Heroclix came about.
@BigfootGaira Cool, We had made our own characters for overpower aswell. Not sure what happened to them though. I've seen Hero Clix figures before but I didn't really know what they where for. Just looking it up on youtube and it looks pretty cool, way more characters for that then I had imagined.
Great video, informative for beginners but you forgot to go over the Mission and Event card rule sets, though I'm sure this was intentional :p
