Accoustic guitars are usually strung with steel strings, "classical" normally have nylon strings 4th 5th & 6th wound. The neck on a classical guitar is wider at the nut (machine head end). After that it depends what style of music you want to play, plus the nylon string is easier to depress while playing, steel strung guitars have more tension so till the tips of your fingers toughen up tend to make them tender.

Nothing is called best dont be ridiculous. Everyone has their taste. If you®e smart enough to understand complicated classical music then youll want a classical guitar but if your just the average-IQ guy and you like popular music youll want an acoustic steel guitar.

Its not a good idea to rest your pinky on the soundboard it will stop you geting a good righthand technique and restrict your anular finger. Classical guitarists never do this. Good luck with your playing.

Keep up the good work. Yamaha is the most consistent guitar company out there. My son has an old one that is amazing and I have a 171SF flamenco that is very nice. You simply cannot get a better guitar for your money.
