Pause the image and u´ll see how he´s aligned with the defense, u have to pay attention at the moment when the ball leaves the foot of the player who makes the pass and if the forward who´s receiving the pass is behind any defender it´s not offside. these werent too impressive it definitely wasnt as pretty as ronaldo/inho ect. but he has good control over the ball and seems able to exploit defender's balance which is much more important than skill moves which can leave you open. hopefully that is his style- brilliant functional football, nothing too selfish.
