Were exactly is this hill? I'm gonna ride it up on my 20 inch unicycle and record it for you:) I've ridden a couple canyons on my unicycle like belagio drive in bel air and turnbull canyon in hacienda heights.
Congratulations you have tremendous balance with starting and stopping w/ each stroke of the pedals. Now I want to see a high wire act. Any special adjustments? Tire pressure? Seat height etc.? Most impressive may have been going DOWNHILL. I've heard that some distance runners would rather go uphill, the body takes a beating going downhill. As for the patch, cut it in half. You went up twice, right? Oh, and can I see your identification? Fifty-five?
@bbigjohnson Haha, thanks. The ride down was a cakewalk compared to climbing up that beast! And yes, there was much more involved with the climb than just pedaling!
@dregerclock haha yeah, i know. They had called me earlier in the day, asking for some raw footage of my climb, so they could run it on the news! I'm getting ready to upload the segment to my channel.
@shugemery yeah, it pays in the way it keeps me more healthy so I pay less med bills! I've always liked climbing hills on the uni, even though it can kick your butt at times, but it just feels great when you finally make it! When I first started trying Fargo again about a month ago, I couldn't make it much past the halfway point, and seemed to not be making headway. So I trained harder and crammed down the pasta, and then just willed myself to do it!
@UnipsychleProduction Just thought the words were fitting: "I have ONE gear: GO!" and "That's how I roll". Just random, crazy and something different from the usual.
@TheUniBuddy The filming was the best we could do in the situation. A steadycam is also added weight for the person filming, and it's hard enough as it is to just WALK up that wall of a hill! And also, he had to avoid all the bikes! he did great considering.
@TheUniBuddy Well, that's because the filmer was huffing and puffing just walking up that hill! Uni cable cam I have would never work uphill, onless you had a tree at the bottom that was HIGHER than the top, haha! I'm very happy with the way it turned out though, and it is documented on video, so that's the main thing. And I'm the only person ever to have successfully climbed Fargo on a uni, and I'm damn proud of that!
Geez! even though the movie shows you got to the top I was still "willing" you on from the comforte of my chair here!
Excellent characature at the start of the vid but most of all I'm amazed how you did this with all those distracting bicycles that sometimes seemed to be creating additional obstacles!
@monocyclism Thanks Geoff. I was ultra determined to succeed with everyone there watching, including some media, and my brother. I had a lot of fun and when I finished my second climb, which was not planned, I though I should quit while I'm ahead, lol!
I fell off my chair. Next time I watch this video I'll wear a helmet.

You are too cool! I can't believe you rode back down. How bad did that hurt your knees?
RicksonByArmbar 9 months ago
@RicksonByArmbar Thanks. The ride down was dead easy compared to going up! Knees didn't hurt, but legs and lungs got a good workout!

3 things:
1: The filmer should have used a steadiecam!
2: The music started to get annoying :(
3: Except for 1 and 2.. AMAZING!!!
