FALSE RELIGION; in this case, showing itself in the most extreme form possible. Decades ago, we Americans took the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob OUT of our public schools. BIG MISTAKE!!!! This is quite a memorial tribute you have posted Lonnie. Unfortunately Michelle Obama does not share those sentiments with us. She was conspiculously absent from the memorial cerermony at ground zero.  The Obamatanked media failed to mention it. She found time to fund raise at the Baptist church in Ohio the night before. Love it. What a great American you are, Lonnie!! I didn't once hear the song, "God Bless America," yesterday on TV but I did think about the Congress and how they stood on the steps and sang it on 9/11/01. I did listen to "God Bless America" as sung by Martina McBride, in my opinion one of the most beautiful versions of the song, more than once yesterday. Yeah, it was nice that after 911 when we were able to put aside the partisan character assassination and forget the dorm room fights of the 1960s. For a while anyway.

I guess only great crisis can really unite us. Maybe it's always been that way.

I remembered 9/11. My dad was at the pentagon when it happened. Luckully, he wasn't in the side that got hit by the plane. Still, it was sad how many people died. Lets drop the politics and division for one weekend to remember.
