Well Tucson I love here. I born and raise here Tucson.... Mi nidto is the best Mexican restaurant. They alwas full every nights except Sunday and mondays they closed. Open wednesdays to Saturday they always gets full... It's a sign that there is the best food i went tere twice a month cuz they are always full oh forgot to mention their price is very reasonable!!!!!!!! Yo couldn't say they r just ok. Sorry but you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not talking about chain garbage like El Torito, On the Border, etc. I'm talking about the small family owned restaurants in Santa Ana. More authentic, better tasting, less crowded, better priced, etc. Nevada, are you serious. All the places you stated have high white populations. Southern Cali has a large Mexican population. Seems logical to me that So Cal would have better food than NV, NM, & AZ. Take your head out of your ass.

I saw this episode on MVF - I used to live in Tucson and have been to Mi Nidito several times. Let me say that this place is "just OK!" Average Mexican food and nothing more. The wait times here are unjustified. To say this Mi Nidito is "authentic" is garbage - unless you think that On the Border, El Torito, and other chain places are authentic. What is considered "authentic" is a mystery to me. Anyway - southern CA (my hometown - thank God I'm back) has much better Mex Food than Tucson.
