Well wht he's saying is TRUE. The Liberals, and even the NDP, would only appoint Left-wing Judges in the Courts, after we see time and time again, that it's these bleeding-heart Judges who the reason we have so much crime in this country, they just keep letting Criminals go with a slap on the wrist, or at best, a lenient Jail Sentence. There is no deterent or consequences for their actions, that my friends is NOT Justice. Atleast the Harper Government has BACKBONE and takes a stand to CRIME.
It's funny because the Gun Registry was banned. I'm Left, but maybe Harper isn't so bad after all. He lowered taxes, and there hasn't really been any problems. I'm opposed to his right wing views on Gay marriage though. I guess I can't agree with everything he has to say.
I said it on day #1.The Reform Party's agenda is to adopt every right-wing American policy - social, judicial and economical and hence turn Canada into the 51st state. They cut your taxes(barely)w/ one hand and then cut your rights and liberties with the other. All Canadians that support this regime should do themselves and this country a great service and move to the U.S.
Harper made an appearance at a conservative event, so partisan rhetoric should not be unexpected. As for who recorded the address, someone in the audience recorded it and showed to a university Liberal Youth club, who leaked it to the media. It's not a surprising video, but then it's not entirely truthfully, either. Harper was banging the war drum for the faithful, but this is hardly an indication of how he may govern if he had a majority.
I fully agree with what Harper is saying here. It's silly that the CBC is hyping this up as Harper being a liar and having another agenda. All parties have their own agenda and would be talking to their people about it if they were in power with a minority..... Well it is the left wing CBC, so what can you expect?
So much for waning to work with the other parties. Branding your political rivals this way really doesn't leave much room for negotiations. Harper seems pretty happy to have an election given that he's calling for a majority unlike what he's been saying in public about not wanting one. The 'left wing ideologues and fringe groups' stuff is pure garbage and an idiotic fear tactic. I really hate that kind of politics which inspires fear and anger.
So much for Harper wanting to work with the other parties. Branding them this way doesn't really leave a lot of room for the cons to compromise. I guess he's still forgetting he's in a minority situation. Calling for a majority pretty much says he's happy to go to an election despite his insistence he doesn't want one right now.
The notion of the left wing ideologues and left wing fringe groups is also pure garbage and fear mongering. I hate that kind of divisive angry politics.
I like Jack Layton, sometimes he can really sound like a smug SOB... Canada needs a leader with a harder edge.
Obama softer & more politcaly correct public image was a good change for the US but Harper's personality is too soft for what I think Canada needs these days.
The NDP has its work cut out for them... They have been criticizing the leading parties for YEARS... Its easy to be critical when your not in charge... I wonder if they can take as much as they dish...
Harper's comments are no more sensible with the rest of his tired diatribe. He's a chump, and has nothing to recommend himself or his party. LET'S MOVE ON!

Why is CANADA under a corporate defacto Goverment and not a dejure ?.
The people of CANADA Who vote and or live here are Not Properly re-presented .
The OATH of Goverment Office is not to serve the people Its to serve The Queen.
The Queen of CANADA wasnt born here ,doesnt live hear ,and doesnt work hear.
She didnt raise her family in Canada .
doesnt it seem like a tax and controll scam ? aka a racket:
