  • U saved me!!! Thank u!!

  • Great video!! Thank you!! P.S. Your son is absolutely ADORABLE!!

  • I make single cups of coffee using tea bags that you would use for loose tea

just fill tea bag with coffee pour boiling water over it let it steep and you get a perfect cup of coffee...I refuse to spend money on those fancy machines and my coffee taste just as yummy..She used way to much coffee it's usually 1 tablespoon per cup

  • That is way to much coffee for only 2 cups = caffeine OD!

  • Awesome thanx! :) I love coffee!

  • If you have an AUTOMATIC DRIP that stops dripping when you swing out the basket, you can still pour boiling water into the basket and let your coffee brew.

Place the coffee grounds into your basket..Fill the basket with water.and push the basket back into place and let it drip.

Then swing out the basket add more water if you are making a larger amount of coffee.

PLUS you can increase the brewing time by letting the water and coffee grounds steep in the basket till you decide to let it drip.

  • @katzparov Assuming you have an automatic drip maker..........Which stops working (but the basket and stopper still work ok)

Or you can simply purchase a Melitta portable Drip coffee maker for about 9-12 dollars..........I plug the drain hole for a few minutes to increase the brewing time...........Then pull out the plug after about 2-4 minutes.

Just find something that you can use that will plug the opening.....Slightly lift up the basket, pull out the plug and let the coffee drip.

  • good idea with the ladle... thank u for sharing!

  • you shouldn't do it in plastic....more likely then not it will give you cancer (most of time under your tongue or in the esophagus)

  • Honestly, i'm about to try this, because I never liked the idea of making coffee with a machine. I bet it'll taste a lot better this way.

  • That's essentially what a drip coffee maker does :)

  • Mr. Superman no here.

  • so much work

  • that's a lot of effort compare to buying a new coffee machine... :))

  • shit taste 2 strong

  • too bad coffee its gonna be. No suger, no milk. WTF!!!!!

  • thanks alot, ill make my coffe now :D, my coffee-maker is dead ;(( but thanks :D

  • u sound Swedish, are you Swedish?

  • wtf were u doing at the end lmaoo

  • what brand of coffee do you use?

  • Or you can just put the coffee and water in the pot, boil it, then use the strainer to get the grounds off and just pour it on your cup

  • @BballNintendo lmao I have no clue why this comment made me laugh so hard, I make coffee in a pot just boil water add the grounds wait 10 minutes and strain. Taste fine.

  • Hilarious.

  • @PatrioticOhioan well try this.... line your cup with the filter, add the coffee in the filter, microwave or boil the water and then just pour it in the cup thru the filter it taste great

  • All you need is a coffee mug, a filter and a microwave...lol I just did it and it taste great.. Thats what drove me to search this vid! I should make my own vid lol

  • so in some way or another, making coffee is like making tea. right???

  • @vinegar1991 basically yes but you dont soak coffee in water your run water through it.

  • is the cupcake thin really necessary

  • My son broke my glass coffee maker yesterday while doing dishes! I wanted my morning coffee, and thought I'd come to youtube to see if anyone had a video on how to make coffee on the stovetop. PRAISE GOD, I found your video! Worked perfectly!

    Thank You For Posting!

  • you may want to consider using something other that i plastic container to catch the coffee, it may have negative impacts on your health

  • @sublime88sublime what are most coffee makers made of?

  • @froggerttt what is a cheap material that lasts for a really long time?

  • @sublime88sublime so, if coffe makers are made of plastic and they do boil the water. what is the problem?

  • @froggerttt it does not boil the water, it heats it up to 200 degrees. and the problem is that when plastic is heated it can leach out particles that will then be absorbed by the liquid or food surrounding it. and the problem with that is that plastic is incredibly harmful to humans when it is heated and then enters the body. there are many serious disorders and conditions related to noxious chemicals that came from plastic.

  • @sublime88sublime You know almost all plastics these days are microwave safe, and your really just full of shit. If you can boil water in a plastic container in a microwave and not have any adverse health effects you can do it this way too. Drinking coffee isn't so great for your health anyway, but drinking it out of a plastic container isn't any worse for you. Great job 11 people who gave this idiot a thumbs up.

  • @RebelInAMidnightMass well, first off, microwaving any plastic is dangerous. and microwaving water in a plastic container just invites the plastic compounds into the water, and then into your body. so lets see, not all plastics are microwave safe, you should never boil anything in a plastic container, and it will have serious impacts on your health. do some research about the dangers of plastics in microwaves. Maybe you will learn something... and you said i was an idiot, hahaha

  • @sublime88sublime Maybe you should. Microwave-Safe Containers: Use cookware that is specially manufactured for use in the microwave oven. Glass, ceramic containers, and all plastics should be labeled for microwave oven use. Generally, metal pans or aluminum foil should not be used. The microwaves reflect off them, causing food to cook unevenly and possibly damaging the oven. Straight from the FDA website.

  • @RebelInAMidnightMass

    I can attest to that!!

  • @sublime88sublime If you've ever ate at a restaurant, they microwave shit in plastic all the time. :)

  • @RebelInAMidnightMass i work at a restaurant

  • what's the white foam stuff that's coming up? :S

  • This is the best way to make coffee. I dont even want a coffee pot anymore. It tasted so much more flavorful than coffee pot coffee. I dont know why, but it did. Thanks!

  • coffee brewed by hand if done properly is far superior to coffee done in a machine. its the only way i brew coffee. of course it does take some effort and pratice but once you learn how the coffee behaves and are able to get the most it has to offer you will never use a machine again. first things first though- fresh roasted- fresh ground coffee is way better than store bought grounds!

  • My "no machine" method employs a 4 cup insulated carafe, a wide mouth plastic funnel which fits into the carafe, a plastic strainer that fits standard filter paper which is placed on top of the funnel. A use a $30 water kettle to boil water and a grinder to grind whole bean coffee. I pour the water into the grinds until it's level is just below the filter top. After several minutes a refill the filter once more. The fresh drip brewed coffee drips directly into the carafe and stays hot for hours.

  • i tried to tri this... lol i failed... oh well practice makes perfect!

  • nice

  • everyone is a critic in here , stfu

  • Calm down, you fool.

  • @MrYpres- well its you tube so deal with it lol

  • @MrYpres That should be put at the top of the youtube comments section on all videos- lmao

  • It comes out even better if you boil the coffee in the water...

  • @dragonchr15 You are quite correct, dragon. Things have reached a pretty pass when people are lost without some stupid machine that makes an inferior cup of coffee anyway. You put the coffee in the water, boil it, simmer for 4 minutes, then pour it into the cup or pot through an ordinary tea strainer. No filter paper needed. And it makes an excellent cup of coffee. If it didn't I would refuse to drink it. If you must use machinery, a cafetiere is much better than these stupid machines.

  • stupid

  • OMG it'll be easier if i buy one .....too much steps
