He's saying that he feels her pain and he ran away to place that was almost as beautiful as her. I would rather see a band I've followed since around the time they start get big, than to think they're so much better being only local. A band being successful with their music and reaching to a wider audience doesn't make their music worst. When their sound changes that's because albums are made over years so the members get older and whats important to write about shifts generally :P Don't be greedy about your music. Be happy if kids listen to good music like this, better than Biebz. ;]
