Nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to develop an "art or science, to understand God in an organized manner". This is the very "precept upon precept" doctrine of the pharisees which causes them to "go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken." Please understand that no one will ever know the living God by studying him with man's devices. The way to know him is to read his word and obey.
