Man, ive been into comic books pretty much my whole life. I even have the first season of Superboy on DVD. I love both Superboy & Smallville. I love comapring the two series. I still admire John H.Newton portrayal of Clark Kent/Superboy.

True. Yet you need to purchase the first season of Superboy on DVD. I think the reason why the second season of this show hasnt been release yet is due to the lack of sales. So we gotta support the cause. Plus, this show was way better than Superman Returns.

What's with Gerard Christopher??? Whenever someone mention's this show, they only think of him. I mean John H.Newton deserves some props too. After all, he was a good Clark Kent/Superboy also. I like his portrayol of the Boy of Steel way better than the new guy who did Superman Returns.

Newton was better as superBOY(or superTeen). Plus wen the superMAN began w/Gerard it turned into more comic book(villians,aliens,robots,et­c)

True. Yet He was playing Superboy. Not Superman. So he had to play the man of steel as if he was a teenager. Also, the first season wasnt Newton's fault. It was the producer who came up with those lame ass episode scripts. Also Christopher is a major Superman comic book fan just like us. I dont think that Newton was a comic book fan. Yet he played off Superboy really well though.

Yeah, i seen it back in the days. He was also in Kool As Ice.Man,He hasnt had a good role since Superboy. It's a shame though cause i think he's a good actor. Ill tell you one thing though, The worst actor on Superboy was the guy who played T.J. White. Im glad the producers decided to get rid of him and Scott James Wells(the first Lex Luthor).

Omigod, dat 1st Luthor was AWFUL at acting! You said it. TJ was alright, but yeah he'd be 2nd worse. Wen Gerard came in they basically just did a whole new makeover.Da only survivn face was Stacy. It was just a whole new show (for my money,I thot it was better)

Dude. There was no way that they were gonna get rid of Stacy Haiduk. She was absolutely beautiful as Lana Lang. If you ask me, Her and John H.Newton made the show for season One. Gerard was just lucky enough that the producers of the show finally decided in bringing real villans. That was a major help for the series. The Second Luthor was real good. I loved his acting. Way better than wack ass Scott James Wells. He was so horrible that never landed another acting gig.LOL

Watta ya think of Stacy Haiduk as Poison Ivy? Her skin seemd a good color in contrast 2 her red hair. It would be SO cool if H.Newton appeared on Smallville and smakt down TomWelling. "YOU ain't SuperBoy!" And den Gerard smaking down Brandn Routh the new guy, KaPOW! "YOU aint' Superman bitch!" Poor Scott James Wells btw. No more acting for him huh?LOL

Yeah, i know right cause he suck's hardcore. Stacy Haiduk would make a great Poioson Ivy. She'd probably outshine Uma Turman in the role. I wouldnt mind seeing John H.Newton in a Smallville episode. Yet i doubt he'd want anything to do with the Superman franchise.

I think it might of been due to the fact that he was let out the show after completing the first season. Plus, i dont think he was a big comic book fan like Gerard Christopher. Ill be sure to look up Superboy 3.
