thank you for this biography. It has helped me understand Krishnamurti's strong rejection of religion and messiahs, and his absolute refusal to be seen as a teacher. Despite the Theosophists attempt to direct this wonderful man's life, he became very much his own person, and his message is powerful because it arises from his personal and unique experience of truth. JK's life is a powerful illustration of the self-awareness and personal responsibility that he never ceased to promote .

It's a little baffling to me that Krishnamurti's followers were so hypnotized by his teachings and treated it like a religion. The same goes for Jesus and Buddha etc. Seems to me Krishnamurti taught the very opposite and actually got pretty annoyed when people treated him like the messiah. This documentary too strikes a very annoying tone.

@jst1998 i am sure people will always be glad to see 'one of us', an individual go through the profound change and find the satisfying Truth to end all truths; but people get caught in the worship, instead of applying immediately the solutions to their own problems. Some people do carry with them an energy that is peaceful and harmonious, meeting some people with this quality, it is easy to fall into some sort of love-devotion, attachment, and that is up to the individual to settle.

@jst1998 It is a part of the collective evolution of humanity to turn a formless transcendent truth, into a rigid, non-spontaneous, formed or formal truth, that eventually yields to a socialized structure until it is broken once again from its cultural and institutionalized assocations. Even Tolle followers can become religious and do the same thing that happened with Buddha and Jesus.

echhart tolle check him out for more on this. This stuff is my church my personal church. It includes teachings of Krishnamurti and Tolle + Buddha, the tao, Jesus, Hindu teachings, Allan Watts. My temples are ones of grass and dirt. I don't go door to door to sell my religion nor do I feel the need to save anyone. If people ask (which no one has so far)I will talk about it. It is an on going proccess in me and will be until I die.

How do you think all these millions of species of beings have survived during the whole history of the universe?

No I'm not going to spend my life reading about how to live. You passed that judgement on me and it came from your own thoughts. You added that. Millions of species survived in this whole universe by definitely not reading someones words on Youtube then comparing ,passing judgement adding things that where never even implied and then making pissy comments. All of which are the product of an over active ego. Thats how the human species will end EGO.

Why the attitude? Did you not just proclaim the end of human species - so you know the truth? On one hand you claim to have no ill-will towards others and on the other hand you chose to go sit atop the mountain an pass judgment? you need to go re-read what KM said.

When he was describing his experience at 2:00, i had recalled that you experience the same thing when you eat nothing but raw livign foods. that is raw fruits, vegatables, nuts, seeds, superfoods, and herbs. type that up on a search engine and see what you find, "Raw Living Foods", also look for "David Wolfe"

somehow the theosophical society had the right intution - Krishnamurti was the new messiah; but they didn't expect that he would teach to believe in ourselves

But don't worship him.That is the essence of his critical knowledge and philosophy.First do not become bound mentally by any train of thought or act of worshiping.I too believe he was the world teacher and the world just missed him 20 years ago.Can't even realize truth when that truth didn't believe he was truth.He invocate we all have this truth.I hope by the 22nd or 23rd century nobody doesn't over exaggerate his life story and make him into a god teacher like Jesus or Vishnu or something.

Much of what Krishnamurti says is true. It's just hard going through this period without my "crutch," though.

that last quote was incredible...'do you want to gather and bind all that beauty into a narrow temple?'...'do not create little gods'...in other words concepts and ideas, like religion or philosophies, are fragments of a greater truth: that you are at one with everything and, thus, the embodiment of all ideas and in fact all possible ideas, religions and philosophies alike.
