  • Your trainer is awesome...

  • Good job riding! Your horse has great movment! What color is he? He looks like he could be a grey, buckskin, or a Grulla..My horses name is also Diego and he is a grey. BEAUTIFUL horse you have there!

  • Thanks! I've improved SOOOOOOOOO much since this video! Diego is gray. I can't wait to see your horse! :)

  • nice riding you did really good and you horse is cute too!

  • great job! lol i know that feeling when its so hard to get your horse to do something perfect on his part that you dont really have a choice but to loose your style LOL

  • I LOVE your trainer! xD

  • hmmm.... very familiar voice :)

  • what kind of halfpad/bump up are you using in this?

  • Ummm... I'm not sure. I just got it from State Line Tack. = D

  • ur arms were too far apart...but super cute pony

  • Yea, I know. But the good thing is, is that i've stopped doing that! If you watch some of my recent videos of shows you can see that my arms are WAYYYYYYY better now! Thanx for the compliment on my horse. :)

  • yah. i know what u meen. the good thing about group lessons is u sometimes make friends, and u get to see how other pl ride and see what u can do to improove!

  • cool! do u take group lessons or piivit???

  • Mostly group, it kinda depends on if my horse is out there for training, then my instructor likes me to take some private lessons so she can spend more time with me and Diego.

  • lol. how long have u been riding english 4?

  • Like a year to a year in a half.

  • u can kind of tell in this vid. lol

  • YUP! LOL! :)

  • lol. did u used to ride western??

  • Yea :)

  • no offense but your hand position and steering is crap

  • I dnt ride like that nemore so you should check out my recent videos and see. :)

  • remember to keep asking for that canter on every stride

  • Yea, thanx! :)

  • oo. lol. is he easy to ride??

  • Ummmm, kinda. LOL! :)

  • so do u own a horse?

  • Yea, the horse I'm on! LOL! :-)

  • Nice lesson, actually. I like seeing videos of lessons. All horses have a natural tendancy to slow down as they turn. =( Try keeping your sternum up more when you're going around a corse, and keep your torso pointed where you want it to go. =) Nice job!

  • Thanx! Thank you for your advice too, I'll have to try it. :-)

  • yah, and wouldnt it hurt to jump with the horn on the western saddle in your way? lol

  • LOL! :-)

  • no prob! i started out english for about 4 years, then i went to western for about 3 months, now i am back at english. but i like to ride western and english.

  • Cool! I think I like to ride english better, its kinda hard to jump in a westren saddle! LOL! :-)

  • nice video! how long have u been riding??

  • Thanx! I started riding western and then moved to english, so i've probably been riding for maybe 5 years, i've been jumping for 1 year though. Thanx for commenting! :-)

  • Omg! We both have very lazy greenies! I thought i was like the only one left in the world! Well i def. know what your going through! My vids will definately make you feel better because yours did so i could see someone else was going through what i am. The pony is really cute and looks like its coming along well, you are a super rider too. You have great focus and a wonderful leg!

  • I know, its so awesome to find someone thats going through the same problems I am! I will definitly check out your vids. Thanx for the compliments too!;-)

  • you have nice heels, but you need to put your elbows in and bend them!!

  • Thanx! I have fixed the flapping, wierd arms and elbows thing that I was doing in this video and several others. I have some more recent videos of me riding in shows and riding at home if you want to check them out and see my un-flapping wierd arms. LOL! :-)

  • ok i jump in the uk and realise that it is different but i think you should shorten your reins, put your stirrps up a hole and get your horse moving forwards more, how can he jump if there is no forwrds movement!! get a more bouncy canter and keep your upper body still, sit up in between jumps to gain more control. nice horse though you can tell he is a baby!

  • Yea, I know I needed to shorten my reins, I have already fixed that. If I shorten my stirrups any more, my knees would explode in pain, LOL! And my horse is a baby, he was in training in this video and is a very, very lazy quarter horse. Thats why he has no forward movement. We have had 3 shows now (after his training) and won 2 reserve champions, and one champion, so we must be doing something right! :-)

  • vary nice horse! and you ride vary well 2! me and my friends have green horses 2 so we know how you feel when you say its hard! lol i love you pony and you 2 make a GREAT TEAM!!!!

  • Thank you sooooooooo much! :-)

  • Thanks soooo much! :-)

  • Nice riding. I know what it's like to be riding a green horse, so i think you handled it wonderfully.

  • OMG! I know! Her voice drives everyone crazy!!!!!! LOL! :-) Oh, and I really wasn't leaning at the canter, I was just riding in my 2 point position, thanks for the tip though! :-)

  • Argh ur instructors voice is abit annoying lol u rode v. wel tho, little tip try nt to lean forward when cantering , Well Done for sorting his little miss hap out! x

  • hey you look great! my horse is green too her name is Fancy...whats your horses name?

  • THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! My horses name is Diego by the way, and his show name is Hezakeeper(my username):-) I will be posting a video of our first show after his training in probably a little after 3 weeks so check back if you want! :-)
