Huh, that's odd, after seeing both scenes from the remake and this (I want to get the game but only one of them, either the original or the remake), why is it that this scene from the ps1 seems so much better in the original than in the much higher quality graphics of the remake?!

@vc180191 The content is much better here, the graphics don't have much to do with anything if you ask me. Though granted the one in Twin Snakes is one of the few cutscenes in that game that are almost if not as good as the original (in my opinion)

To me the beast line Liquid had in the entire game (and he had a lot of good ones) was when he said "Impressive, you are indeed worthy of the code name fox but now your FINISHED!!!!!!!". Damn i still get goose bumps when i hear it, the GC version is ok, but lacks the emphasis on "finshed"

I prefer the sad music in this one then the music in the GC remake. It makes the whole scene much more emotional. I mean, I haven't really played any MGS game (beside 3 and Acid which was shit, 3 was ok but I was justtoo young to understand it)

But yeah, I remember playing this as well, and how I couldn't get passed the guards on the first mission

@Daproblem187 It's just a matter of opinion, the majority prefer the original voice. i personally like the original voice because i'm used to it and he sounds more war-beaten and the voice acting is better all together. But like i said it's just a matter of personal opinion

The GameCube version is awesome, but most of the music, dialog and music in the original was much better.

The only thing that was better in the gc version of this seine was that they talked slower then the ps version.

@RealtySUCKS0311 Well that's the problem in the GC version, they talk to slow. Almost like they don't care that a big robot is trying to kill them. Also there's more desperation and guilt in the PS1 version, Fox is trying to explain everything as fast as he can, his confession before he dies, it's a battle not a picknick, and he knows what he must do. Wouldn't you be stressed if you knew that you would have to die so that you can help someone else?

@glitchTF I also feel like in TTS, when Snake screams "FOOOOOOX!" it's not as emotional, and it sounds worse than the PS1 version. And that's one of the key points of the cutscenes IMO.

@xVZer0x I agree. Gray Fox's voice is way better in the PS1 version in my opinion, but I prefer some of the voice acting and some of the voice acting in the remake such as Liquid's voice and Meryl's voice.
