He was a true gentleman, shy and quiet until you get him talking about his horses! Then he's got plenty to say and doesn't mind saying it! LOL Just love him!!! The great Brooke Benton wrote and sang this wonderful song more than 50 years ago. When you listen to the heartfelt passion in his (and Randy Travis') voice as he sings, you can be left with no doubt that this is a true love song of the first order. Heartache, loss and hope are so very much a part of love that while this may not be a "happy" love song, it is a great love song
