don't listen to them I thought it was great. Fred is supposed to be loud, crazy, and very boisterous. This is something that most of the freds on this web sight don't seem to get. You were perfect for this part, Although i have to admit that you need to work on your breathing a little
The point of the yelling is so EVERYONE can hear it the director proally told her to yell, believe me im in this musical as a knight not fred lol so lay off her :D
don't like this karaoke stuff - wow she sounds like she's dying from suffocation with all those gasps - i'm worried about her vocal health - what voice is there is great though! with proper support, she'll be unstoppable
A lot of times people just don't know any better. Sure it's "character singing." but if why does she pronounce some things not country-like and other things country-like?
She's is SO singing from her throat, and not from her diaphragm. You can definately tell in the end. This show obviously had a lack of music director. Or one who didn't do their job :)
I love your portrayal of winnifred. We're doing the same show at our school in about two weeks, and out of boredom I went looking for some stuff online. Thanks so much for posting this. You had me rolling on the floor laughing (especially with the dwarves in happily ever after), and gave me some good ideas. Thanks again, and hope you don't mind if I incorporate you into my character. : D
