hey man i hope you can reply or somebody that has made one of these and have made their own tattoos i have gotten 2 tattoos professionally done and i realized in this video the guns needle dousent move as fast as a pro one dous this affect anything by the pain? and when i want to change the spring or whatever jabs into your skin do i just unhook it from the button or do i need to dessemble the whole thing?

@elitebman the spring needle is not as thick as the real needles they use on real tattoo guns, so its not as painful, and yes if you want to replace the needle just remove it from the button and add a new one, and a easier thing to do besides using a spring is to use a guitar string, but make sure the guitar string is thin and has no ridges on it, if it does have ridges it will just tear your skin up, and remember to be sure that the tip of your makeshift needle is sharp.

You need way way less needle comeing out at tip and like you said you need faster motor depending on needle and speed the pain can be changed alot.

Slower= more pain

Needle the slightest i meen the slightest thickness in needle can change the pain i meen you cant even see the thickness its that little that matters.

Dude, you can buy a tattoo gun online for $154. Look up Pittsburg Iron Machines. They are good too. But if you absolutely must use a homemade gun, use a motor that will move much faster. And, damn, man, buy real tattoo needles online. They're cheap. For lining buy the 3 needle fix.

If your homemade gun is not powerful enough to move a real tattoo needle shaft, then just use the three needle fix, and secure it to a guitar string or something. And clean your shit well before each tattoo.

i can never get the needle part to stay in the button, i mean for like 5sec. it'll wok then it would fly off. how you keep it in there?

make a bumber. get a paper clip and bend it so that you could tape it it over the needle and put it to where it barely touches the needle that way it wont have much room to bounce around and fall off.

yea i made that mistake before except i was trying to fix an electrical cord and i just twisted the wires together. so yea people use caution when your messing around with electricity. never use scotch tape use electrical tape and/or duct tape.

its pretty hard as you could probably tell but you could get knife and put it in between them and hit it with a hammer. or you could just hit it with a hammer and break them off but be care full you could break you motor, or your hand lol.
