he is holding himself when the gyro is on, but you can see his body moving around on the seat. like a good linebacker, watch the torso. it doesn't lie.
You would thing they would do better. possibly two gyros in tandem would have suppressed the roll.

He holds onto the table and steadys himself when the gyro is on so it looks like he isnt moving much.
but when the gyro is off, he doesnt hold onto the table and lets his body roll with the boat???
