  • Maestro Ozawa is getting older, but his spirit is forever young ! XD

  • Seiji's earnestness, intellect and candid lack of pretense are plain in this video....what a shame his relationship with Boston deteriorated to the point at which he was derided so stridently by musicians and critics alike. Ozawa is truly an amazing musician....I hope more Americans (like myself) will begin to appreciate him for the big heart and formidable intellect he possesses.

  • It seems to me that present Ozawa looks like Karajan.

  • Ah Seiji...Toronto and Ontario Place, 1972...a girl with a copper chain. After 40 years I think am still in love with you!!!

  • Brilliant conductor. I think his best performance is The Nutcracker (Tchaikovsky).

  • I think Seiji Ozawa was one from a million Japanese who can speak english...

  • hes such a humble person.

  • I don't like his performance very much.

DG's recordings of Prokofiev Symphonies I wanted to listen to was, in fact, not Ozawa but Abbado.

He likes Rossian Music; must have been shown more wondurful playings.

Aber die berliner Hörner sind schon klasse!
