I don't care if BSG have elements of other shows, too (in 2010 is nearly impossible to create something with every element really new, never seen before). What I care about is that in the end, the whole spectrum creates something unique, with a solid script that knows how to excite and how to pursue a story.

@jhgf11 Are you kidding? BB totally immerses me into each and every minute of every show. I am also a fan of "The Wire". "The Wire" is great but it can be a chore to keep up with everything and I would argue that I care more about the characters in BB. I don't know how you can watch the last scene of season 3 and not completely feel sympathy for the 2 characters in that scene. Compare this to Bodie shooting Wallace. While this scene was hard to watch, I think the former was even more so.
