I feel I must apologize for the conduct of my football team in the tournament.

It has now been 12 long years of not winning a trophy and we even had to wait for a place in a final for six years. In fact until June 25th we hadn't even been to a semi-final of a major football tournament for almost twenty-four months.

Oh, all those years of hurt are starting to get to me.

I must apologise for the England team not losing a penalty shoot-out in the last tournament. Okay, they weren´t qualified but that doesn´t usually stop them giving full value for money. Let´s hope they´re back to their best in 2010 !

I watched the last World Cup while living in Barcelona. All the Germans fans we knew would come and watch and support England, all the English people they knew would be cheering for Germany. (A very strange situation and a habit I have ps, I really enjoy your Talksport interviews! Keep it up!
