I don't fully understand why it's there but it is there and I can here the difference in the sound. If you are unable to see that, then maybe you need a large pair of glasses with thick lenses. You'll look like a damned security camera with legs but at least you can see straight..

1) Josh has guitar

2)Troy has guitar AND slide guitar/lap steel/whatever you wanna call it

3)Dean has keyboard AND a guitar

4)Mikey has bass

5)Joey drums

...like you, at first I didnt see Dean had a guitar (making it 3). You were counting both of troy's guitars + josh's 1 guitar = 3 guitars. but i was saying slide isnt used simultaneously
