dodge didnt cheat, its perfectly ok to put a companys engine in a type of truck, the engine doesnt have to be made by the same company as the truck its in. the only company that builds their own trucks and their own engines that i currently know about, is Mack Trucks; all other truck companys use different engines. also ford doesnt make their engines anymore, International does, and Izuzu makes chevys.

ya the chevys had good gaskets but bad blocks.. the block kept cracking on them..but ill admit any vehicle iz good if u maintain them properly and some are just common defects..but no dought the new 6.4 deisels are gonna own..and the cummins iz a good engine but dodge cheats cuz they dont make the cummins engine...they bought the rights to put the engine in their trucks.. so ford and chevy are the only real trucks in that class..lol

dodge didnt cheat, its perfectly ok to put a companys engine in a type of truck, the engine doesnt have to be made by the same company as the truck its in. the only company that builds their own trucks and their own engines that i currently know about, is Mack Trucks; all other truck companys use different engines. also ford doesnt make their engines anymore, International does, and Izuzu makes chevys.
