  • whats the name of the song in the background?

  • very inspiring video .. thanks =)

  • Once there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The end.

  • Irony is..they make the same products as lynx spray..who promote in their adverts stick think model beauty women..

  • ginger kids! what do they think of lol

  • what is the name of the song in the background? i love this ad!

  • They need to play these commercials on TV more often. I am so sick of seeing these super-skinny women everywhere in the media, making girls like me feel like cows. I'm 130 lbs with double D breasts with a butt to match. I'm not fat, at least I never considered myself fat. But by today's standards, I'm a disgusting cow. I wish girls like Marilyn were the definition of "hot" again.

  • I wish someone had talked to me

  • @Jannielovesanime smile, you're beautiful! :)

  • can someone tell me the name of that song

  • How do the corporates do it? Step 1: convince my daughter she has a problem even though she doesnt. Step 2: get her to dislike herself because of it. Step 3: convince her theres a solution & its called 'their product'. Step 4: Wrap it up in cellophane & brand it with a fictitious miracle vitamin & price it at an exorbitant level so it appears "rare". Step 6: Buy that Ferrari & make out you earn your money like a man when really, you prey on 10 year olds.

  • if you look beyond corporate cynicism you'll find that there is a positive message here. yes, dove is a business but all businesses are run by people and just because those people make good money doesn't mean that they don't have a conscience. there is no sense in wasting energy on hating big business for being successful, hate gets people no where. If anyone really doesn't like a business for it's size or ethics then don't buy their products.

  • so DOVE is telling us that they have nothing to do with beauty. That non of their products are made to make women look more attractive...

    Hypocrites

  • (...Continue on)it protray that kids are innocent they didnt use a larger kid as if they had people may ask questions like is it wise to say bein overwieght is healthy(not a remark) but they do a rare ting here using a red haired girl as a symbol of cuteness in the marketing world (discovery in my ) its a realistic advert and asks mothers to talk to their children so i think its amazing what is better then trying to get people to finally see what beauty really is.

  • can you speak in correction english dialect? fuck ...

  • i luv the fact tat tis vid shows you how much other products claim they have this cure. i can understand why peeps ask y they do this when the company may also have different parts to it lke axe but every company has different sales in different things wud you prefere dove to be just lik axe?

  • what the fuck are you talking it about kid, this is just another way to manipulate dumbfucks like you to buying doves product .. dove has the same mindset as axe or any other beauty company, your wallet.

  • Is everyone commenting on this talking about media class at Temple U. lol?

  • I'm doing an essay on this...Kind of makes you see how BS this whole "beauty campaign" is...Dove found a niche in the market, no surprises that their sales have rocketed since this campaign...All they are doing is building their brand...And Dove owned by Unilever, which makes the Axe adverts.. which portray women VERY differently..

  • yeah i had to watch this in media studies for an exam question

  • we had to watch this in class for a video on self esteem

  • i love the fact that dove is like not like the other adds on tv that show u need it because urll look softer or ypunger thinner taller or something like that

  • Dear fellow American,

Dove is owned by the same company that makes Axe. Have you seen what the Axe commercials do to women?

  • Amen

  • yeah, dove is extremely hypocritical

  • this is actually amazing! I love it!

  • Or talk to your daughter before the fact that you're getting older gets the better of you.....

  • where is this song from?

  • it's called 'La Breeze' by Simian

  • You have a pretty weird interpretation of ugly.

  • Brilliant!

  • Go, Dove, Go!! More of this!!

  • She is not ugly.

  • i think that's one of the most horrible things i've ever read.

  • I spammed that because I couldn't bare looking at it.

  • you're the reason this video was made! ignorant people like you!

  • Wow that is really disturbing...

  • Now I know why your name is 'evilnigg'. It should have been 'stupid dumbshit' instead, though.

  • Uh...you kinda missed the WHOLE point of this ad, evilnigg.

  • wow. definitely gave me chills and took my breath away. hopefully this dove campaign for beauty will actually make a difference; although i think it is already.

stay strong and love your bodies.

  • Good marketing concept, but drips with hypocrisy. Unilever, who own the brand Dove, also own Lynx, Impulse, Sunsilk, and Timotei all of which have millions spent on them with totally different marketing messages which perpetuate the industry the Dove commercial is criticising. Hypocrites.

  • Thank You Dove! Now I can breathe.

  • All these models in ads and on TV are fakes. They wear tons of makeup, get plastic surgery, and take diet pills. Well, not all but most. Dont let these fakes fool you. love yourself

  • And guys wonder why girls are always stressing about their appearance. Society shows us everyday and everywhere what we are "supposed to look like" to feel beautiful. I personally feel like it is a bunch of crap.

  • Where's the short version of this commercial for the US?

  • wots the song?

    good message!

  • la breeze by simian

  • Society makes me sick. Plain and simple.

  • I absolutley love this video!!!!!!

  • The most important role model for a daughter is a mother. If a mother is always looking in the mirror and commenting in front of her daughter how fat she is, etc, her daughter is going to learn those behaviors. Mothers, if you want your daughters to love themselves... Love yourself.

  • oh i just found it: 'La breeze' - Simian

  • yess i'd like to know the name of the song and artist as well

  • What is the name of that song ?^^

  • I think its an amazing ad.

In fact, we had to watch this for an english exam. But I find it somewhat ironic that dove has a lot of "beauty" products of their own, and is also in companied with something that produces AXE,

  • i love it..i really do its something ive been trying to tell people forever that the beauty indusry is out to make you feel insucure about yourself and then force there "miracle" products on to you to suck you dry of your money

  • But so is Dove. They just have come up with brilliant, deceptive marketing.

  • exelent 5 stars

  • Be aware that Dove is owned by the same people who own Axe body spray.

  • amazing video!This is really the reality!Thank you ^^

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! On behalf of all the mothers (and fathers) in America, I THANK YOU! I'm showing this to my daughter the second she's home from school today!

  • Interesting

  • cut that unwanted baby out its so damn inconvenient its only a by-product of sexual intercourse because it feels so good on the genetils to orgasm which makes you greedy. SEX over LIFE, think about it, haha

  • White trash non-cultured okie. smoke your cigarette at a truck stop & have sex with a truck driver, its your destiny, then when you get old look back on your wonderful life & write a book about it Mss. Prochoice.
